details are still slowly trickling in at this point, but word on the street says the car's not totaled and there was no injury to the driver.

While backing up he hit his drivers side front fender on a pole, fenders junk and it will need a new bumper cover, not to bad.

Good to hear no injuries, etc. At least the damage was cosmetic. I have been there plenty of times in the past.

Well, today had some silver lining in it for me. Called Forced Performance and talked to the tech rep I told a month or two ago about a weird noise coming from the turbine, turns out he shouldn't have told me to ignore it. They have a 1 year complimentary replacement/repair guarantee, which is pretty good for this industry. Checked my e-mail, I ordered it on August 31 of last year. Score.
