Sorry to keep going off track but I have a WW trunk lid with carbon fiber VIII wing I will trade for a black wingless trunk.

Let me know if anyone is interested or knows someone who is.

it would be nice to keep an extra trunk around. good for being able to switch back and forth quick, and would be especially handy if you ever got in a wreck.

i wish i had an extra front bumper around actually. mine could use some tlc from too many cones and too long at a low ride height.

Okay tritech and back on track.

Anyone interested in a September/October meet somewhere for fall foliage pictures? Maybe out to racoon state park or hell even Beaver Run area? It'd be neat to get a few cars together. Maybe they'd let us do some group shots?

Anyone know someone that works there?

Welp, the car is down again. Driving through the liberty tunnels, heard a loud bang then no boost whatsoever. Immediately I thought it would be an intercooler pipe, but I wasn't that lucky. Turns out the turbine is totally seized. Four of the seven fans are broken or bent. Time to send it back to FP for a rebuild, under warranty.

I should invest in a gold package from AAA instead of my basic.

Well the good news is that when Mike pulls all that crap apart to ship the turbo out and other issues I am prob going to have him change that fan, so expect it shortly.

Its Murphys law with this car, I swear. Everything that can go wrong, has gone wrong.

You can sign me up - I'd be down for a drive out to Seven Springs or something along those lines. Anyone know of good scenery for photo ops? I've got an SLR I can bring..

On a sidenote, anyone know how much Mike/mitsu charges for a trans/tc/rear diff flush? I just turned 17k on the car and would like to do some preventative maintenance before I get into some more serious mods.

Brett

there are a lot of good spots out that way. i just got back from a drive to the summit of mount davis. fantastic area all around.

if i remember correctly tranny and all diffs cost somewhere around 150ish to change. i had it done a couple months ago. it was somewhere in that area, plus or minus $30. i'd have to dig up the work order to tell you exactly though.

who was the white X with the gold advan rg wheels i saw pulling out of best buy on 51 tonight around 6ish. car looks great.

Thanks I'll probably stop by there this week.

The WW X should be Steve, I wanna say those are Works wheels but I could be wrong. He's also got a pretty nasty 1jz sc300. He stopped by the most recent meet at the Waterfront.
