the guy said that. if there is a substantial gas price increase, they will raise the price of E85 the same amount....
The night before regular gas went up cents a gallon....hence the 20 cent increase on e85

Every Sunday evening at the Arby's on Rt 30 in Latrobe there is a little car cruise. Some old cars and some new ones. I've been there a couple times (once I was just eating out with the family) and most of the younger guys and some of the older ones are very impressed with the evo. I'm sure if you rolled in with a nicely modified one, they would go absolutly gaga over it. Originally Posted by Conceptfromfire

They oftern have some classics, some drag-only cars, some newer cars - but no stink eye.

Good to hear the mixture hasn't changed yet. I have been avoiding driving mine just in case it did start to change. I may have to go fill up a few cans to hold me over until I go up to the track next

Does E85 freeze if left outside in harsh conditions? I remember hearing that people rocking veg oil in jettas would freeze up.

Yeah well good thing I bought it new but then by some miracle bought it built from someone else on ebay and ran it down the track. I don't know how that happened. So confusing.Originally Posted by EvoIan
I heard the guy that originally built that white one was a real douchenozzle

No it should not freeze. It is alcohol. I think the mixture change has to do with cold starting?Originally Posted by Peteypab2133

Yeah, don't think it freezes, but starting it up can be a pain. Anytime it gets cold, it usually takes 2-3 tries to get it going. Not really that big of a deal though.
I was hoping to make it till november on E85, but i'm guessing thats not going to happen?

I had some issues with that last winter, and tried what Travis suggested, just upping the IPW enrichment tables in the tune and it worked like a charm. Now mine starts up wether or not its freezing or 80 degrees outside, it really doesn't fluctuate on blend either.Originally Posted by Canexican

okay, I was just wondering who invented the tag for veg oil ! = e85
So E85 you can cook food in straight from the pump? Reason I ask is because there was a kid at IUP with a jetta who went from fast food place to another with 55gal drums. Would pump out of the fryers tanks and take home. Then he would use a micron filter (said it was one farmers used for milk)then would clean it up several times then run it in his car. At one point he had 3 drums of it and he claimed that it froze outside of his house.
I used to run E85, and I do know a little about it, I have never tested it during the winter..

no, "!=" means NOT equal. it's used in many programming language like java, javascript, C++, C#, etc...Originally Posted by Peteypab2133
