Mine had about a lot less miles on it and I got it from $22k.

Wow, you weren't kidding about the pricing on those IX's. If someone bought any of those vehicles within 5 grand of that asking price they are getting owned.

Totally agree. When I bought mine new from Baierl I only paid a little more than those asking prices. There were some fees, etc, but it wasn't far off from those and mine had 9 miles on it.

IX's seem to be fetching a premium these days. Part of the reason I am thinking of getting rid of it is the $$$ they seem to be getting. Plus it motivates me to get the car cleaned up nice.

No, IX owners have this illusion that they will be getting premium type money for their cars. Its even worse for the people with builds and think their stuff is worth 40K with 70K miles on it. What they ask and what they are getting are 2 different things.

* not meant to offend IX owners.

Depends on the buyer. If the buyer was going to do those mods anyways and it's cheaper than buying a stock car, then buying all the mods, why wouldn't it be worth it to him?

It's just easier to swallow 20k vs 30k or 40k.

I agree with this, the price you see on some offered out there today is amazing. As I stated, I almost paid less for mine brand new off the lot with almost no miles. Evolved, I am not saying your price is too high, you might just have to wait a little to get the right buyer. You also have one of the rarest Evo's out there however, which really helps your asking price. The RS is a low production, but a low mileage white one is very very rare. If I didn't have so much money sunk into mine I would seriously consider buying yours.

Well see how it goes tomorrow.
I know a guy that is selling an WW IX RS with 60K for 18G, but he lives in Wisconsin. Minimal mods. TBE is all I think.

Plus I know there is a local looking to sell his ride, but he doesn't post on here much. Its an 03 or 04 BBY VIII with a Red turbo, 272s, etc.

PM me if you are interested in more details on either.

Let's face it considering that 4-5 year old evo ix's should in all rights be fetching 15 or 16 grand used and they're trading in the low-mid 20's is pretty darned impressive. Even Danes high mileage one got a decent buck with some work needed.

The X guys just get no love. Even with mitsus recent ridiculous price increase.

As far as mine goes, I'm not dieing to get rid of it yet. I am just hunting for the next toy so figured I might as well start shopping mine before I just trade it in. However, more and more I think I may end up keeping her. There simple is nothing else I want that I can drive all year round.
