So after a sweet *** weekend of white water rafting and boozing until my liver tapped out, it definitely sucks to be home. The fun part was getting down and back as there is only one E85 station in West Virginia. So, I bought 4 5 gal gas cans and loaded down the Evo with enough E85 to bring down a building. Luckily, I never got stopped by a cop (would have been fun trying to explain that one) and made it a full 216 miles on a single tank with the light coming on about 20 miles from my destination. Figure I used up about 12 gallons, so that is 18 mpg highway - I couldn't be more thrilled with the sub-par fuel economy.

 

Getting there, just swapped to Ohlins DFV's over the weekend, got the 10-1 shortblock from Buschur, modded rear diff coming this week from Shep, slowly coming along. If it doesn't rain see you Thursday at Beav-Run in the s2000.

 

that's quite a serious bit of kit that you've got going on there.

10k/10k. Looking to build it into a stock looking dual purpose car, little AX, little north track and run high 9's in street trim on pump E85. As long as it still feel fast for a street car I will stay happy.

 

Dave, great job at the Toledo prosolo! You took down two drivers in the Hoops/leiber EVO. Very impressive! I really think you have a shot at a national title.

As for the challange. I'm trying to work it into my schedule.
