Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Evolved, The car should be, i'm guessing 100lbs lighter with exhaust, wheels, suspension components, no spare and other crap. So 3400 plus a tank then leaving me in the mid 34XXlbs. For arguements sake a 3500lb plus driver 500whp should be able to run low 11's no?

Next hillclimb is sat and Sunday in Reading, Pa. Looks to be a huge turnout, at least 100 entries so far. The guys from Dent sport garage in Ma are coming down to race. They have a monster 240 that they are bringing down.

should be a good test for myself.

I just saw a BBY 8 the other day down in Harmarville. I work up in the UPARC labs up on the hill and sometimes venture down there for lunch. Looked good. I always loved that color.
Eric, what bolt-ons/internals do you have that are going to get you up into that 500whp mark? I really hope you are building the motor up rather than waiting and attempting 500 on the stock block. There are a ton of threads on here on people trying to push the 4B11 to those levels and they almost always end in failure. I would build it first so you don't totally ruin the core when you go to exchange it for a shortblock or at least the crank. Thats the one promise I made myself before I built the motor, was that I wasn't going to ruin the good money that was already in the car just to beat the **** out of it before I built it up. Also, the X is one heavy beast. When you think about the weight of the car with driver and all of that, most guesses are usually on the light side.
Do you have a modlist that you could share? It would be really interesting to see a high hp X in the area, though.

There are a couple guys i've talked with on here with near 500hp X's, yes it is pushing the car pretty hard but this will be no daily driver and see maby 10k in its life. If it does let go (when rather) hopefully a rod doesn't let its self out the side and I can do a full build on it.
I was shooting for the 500wheel on e85 with low 4's on 93.
Here is what the build consists of at this point and should be together by the end of the month here. Coilovers and a rear diff will be on their way once I decide what route to go.
