Well, sadly, couldn't pull out a third win today at the FLD's, but was fairly happy with how I ran. My only two losses on the day were against slick cars (a crazy fast Nova and a 1200whp Tempest - yes, 1200whp). What is even crazier is the fact that I would have probably beaten both of them had I not missed third gear.

I beat the 996T, my buddys C5 zo6, a monte carlo slick car, and both evos that I raced. Admittedly, had it been a quarter mile, both evos would have probably ran me down as they both had more power, but I was happy with my launches and that nothing broke...still on my stock 70K mi Tcase! (Dan, let me know if you need a tutorial on how not to blow it up, ). Can't wait for Waynesburg on Oct. 30....

Curts car was fast, I only saw the first run, which might have been against you....

Would have liked to run my car there against some "bad asses" in their american **** boxes but i'll wait untill the car is actually considered fast in a straight line.

Brant, your car looked ****ing amazing and the suspension felt great good call on the kit, also some good driving, we will deff get you in group 3 for this up coming FOD.
Thanks Eric. Car felt pretty darn good out there. The only thing I noticed and have noticed is that on the highway it seems to pull to the right after putting on the new wheels and tires. Probably have to run down to Baierl and get an alignment to straighten that out.

more EVO's here then I've ever seen in one place. Plus they are all race cars. Pretty cool.
I'd say a few hundred evo's

(check out fp,sm, stul, stu, bsp for the evo's)
Holy smokes that a lot of evos. Looks like a heck of an event.

Saw the one you lost and 1st thing I noticed was you missing 3rd gear. Too bad you had him beat. Good job on the wins. Great seeing all the Evos there.

It was pretty fun even though there were too many cars, good job on smoking me off the line, i couldn't get a lick of traction all night, it was spinning so bad in first it reminded me of my muscle car days with a car full of tire smoke.

if you're using the 2 step and slipping the clutch then it just takes practice. just fine a back highway somewhere and practice.

Twin disk is a lot easier Josh. Just slip it a little and go. There is a huge difference between bogging the car down and getting it right and believe me you'll know when you have it right.

Congrats on kicking *** again lol.

Held with ya better then I expected on the highway, Didn't expect to be pushing the Z06's rear bumper either on the race after.

Hopefully I will be running the Waynesburg event.

Yeah, this was my first FLD at Beaverun and I wasn't impressed. It started too late, too many cars, not nearly enough organization. Waynesburg isnt much better as far as organization is concerned, but at least there is more room.

Your car was pretty damn fast. I saw you pulling up on my pretty hard. I was just lucky to get out of the hole as quickly as I did.

Well, you've got about 60whp on me, but my car is a tad lighter with closer gearing, so that helped out quite a bit. I thought my buddys Z06 would have put up a better fight, but it really felt like he was standing still.

Your car definitely has me beat in the sound dept. though...that was one mean noise. Hope to see you in Waynesburg.

In the spirit of asking dumb questions, I have a new set of lug nuts coming in tomorrow. Would I be safe in taking a single lug off and replacing it (rinse and repeat per wheel) in a star pattern without jacking the car up? Or should I just take all lugs off, jack car up and put on all new lugs, tighten and be done with it?

You should be okay with just taking one off and double checking the tightness on the ground, but why risk it. Just take the time to do it right and you know for certain it will not be an issue.

yeah I figured as much. Gotta get the car aligned anyways since it's pulling a little to the right.
