Btw. Everything that has been posted by everyone as links is done. Mode 23 has been going since day one as well as the tephra mod.

The tunes are fine. Its the uploading that is the issue now.

I don't need a tuner, I have one. Its the end user uploading problems.

Why do u no longer have an x mr tim

ok i am just gonna explain this really clearly.

a tuner would most likely have the best idea why the rom will not upload correctly.

they work the ecu and the roms regularly so generally have a good bit of inside knowledge on how these types of things work.

why does this not make sense to you?

i don't recall hearing of any tuners who will create an ecu map then pass it off to a special uploader person because they don't know how to do it.

that's like saying that i am a software developer, but if you don't know how to find the power switch on your computer you would ask someone else, because even though i work with and on a computer every day my designated purpose is not finding the power switch but programming it.

again, do what you want. you're obviously not really interested in taking any of the advice or suggestions that people here have offered you. you have stated time and time again that you feel you know better what your needs are at this moment so i'm not entirely sure why you keep posting about it. obviously you know exactly what you want so stop trying to query us and just go fix it. you clearly have this well under control.

Take ECU out. Put in box. Mail to jestr tuning. Two or three days latter get ECU back reflashed and ready to go.

Brant, you will most likely have to replace the top portion of the center console when you do the 6-5 speed swap. The leather shift boot won't fit over the 5 speed knob base correctly. The MR has that button that snaps around the bottom portion of the locking collar, which is wider than the knob of the 5 speed shift assembly. The part wasn't that expensive and RussellM from Mitsubishiparts.net knew exactly what I needed. It was maybe ~75 and I got the console portion and a new leather shift boot for the 5 speed, all brand new. If you need me to look up the part numbers of what I got, let me know, I might be able to dig them up.

Have a good weekend, Pittsburgh. Penguins **** the bed last night after the 1st period, Go USC and Go Steelers. That is all
I wasn't sure if you could keep the console or not. Curt was kind enough to get me just about everything I needed. I just like the MR logo on the console is all.

Yeah I've been frustrated with the Pens the last few games. More so with Snowball letting in some easy goals.

This isn't going to solve the final problem with the tune. Jestr can give him a good base map, guaranteed, but if he is looking for a more customized tune then he is going to have to take logs and send them in and have tweaks performed via e-mail. Unless you are just having Jestr reset the ECU and then send back and have a local tuner do all of the tuning. In which case I think that is a really round-about way to do it. You could limp it out to one of the shops we mentioned (or have it towed) and they could do it all in one stop and probably in the amount of time it would take to send the ECU in the mail.

As what was stated before though, it is your car, do with it what you want. These are all just suggestions, take them or leave them.

hey guys, just a heads up. i think this has been mentioned here before, but HDTV now carries the WRC.

Rally Spain will be on next Sunday at 10PM.

i have been slacking off on following WRC the last two years but am interested to see how Ken Block is doing and how the field has changed since the retirement of Marcus Gronholm two or three years ago.

Rally Spain is usually a good event.
