Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Haha, well, thanks Mike. Based on the wonderful tags, I really didn't feel like explaining it. It was a sad day and I miss driving the car, but I'm looking forward to finally getting a motor that I won't have to be worried about. It is gonna take awhile to save up, but it will be worth it. I have no plans to stop racing and will be going after the stock turbo record next. I do appreciate those that have been supportive thus far and I have absolutely no regrets. After 5 years of daily use, 2+ years of running 30lbs of boost, and well over 200 launches, it was a damn good run on the stock motor/turbo that far exceeded my wildest expectations. If Jay's tune hadn't been spot on, I'm sure it would never have lasted as long as it did.
Oh, Brian and Denny, I'd appreciate it if you would stop trying to flame my thread in the drag racing section with your douche tags. You don't like me? That's fine. Just keep it here. I do find it disappointing and pathetic considering I was always friendly towards the both of you. And honestly Brian, I thought you were better than that. Denny, well, I guess I didn't know you that well either. Please, f*** off.

so let me ask you this:
are you sticking with the stock turbo when you build and trying to push the stock turbo record more, or are just scrapping that and going for a larger turbo?

Right. So I guess the moderator of that forum just randomly selected your name when he told me who was editing the tags. Whatever you say...dude.
After the motor is built, I'm gonna stick with he stock turbo. Once I get the record, ill go bigger. No idea what turbo, but I want the motor to be able to handle pretty much anything I can throw at it.

Haven't been on here in a while and figured I would stop in and say hello. Good to see some familiar names still driving their evos. Mine was sitting around for a while in mikes lot, but finally i have it back and she is running great.... just in time for winter
. I am hoping to get back involved with the car once I have some time away from work and have finally settled into the house.
