Cat back has 1500 miles on it max... first thing that came off the car... It's in really great condition..

 

I am thinking of selling the set of four I got with the car. Just wondering if they make that much of a difference in racing? I know they are lighter than usual stock oem wheels....but these are expensive wheels....and I am not showing the car, but would rather have the extra money to put into more horsepower....

Looks like opening day for test n tune is at Pittsburgh Raceway Park this Saturday April 5th with gates opening at 11am and racing Noon to 6pm.

Hopefully the weather cooperates...I have not had a chance yet since I bought the EVO to see what it will do...hoping to get some shakedown runs in for the test n tune....

Damn snow cancelled autocross up at North Park this past Sunday....so tired of waiting to get the car out of the garage....

anyone else planning on going up?

 

My car won't be ready for awhile, but I'd still go as long as there is at least one Evo driver that knows what they are doing behind the wheel (no pressure, Jim ). It looks like they changed the opening day to next saturday though. I'm off and and may head up there for the hell of it if you are going. It's been awhile.

 

I thought that I read that this weekend has been postponed because of sewage work not complete at track... Check out there website..

 

Yes...they postponed to next week...and of course I can't make it out then...so I have to wait a few more weeks....looks like the 17th is the earliest that I can get the car out...looks to be a Thursday test n tune...so I might make it up then.

 

Managed to get 4 runs in this past Thursday at test n tune. I am only running at 25psi....so I don't think the dyno sheet that I have on the car showing 467whp was at 25 psi....my best run as 11.9 at 117mph...so its not putting out that kind of power now...more like 400 if its lucky...

still have the hi-flow cat on...so have to remember to take that off next time.

Car drove and handled well during the launches......

wondering what can I expect for each 1psi increase in boost...what does that translate to whp?

I am still stock internals...so I know with the FP black I need to be careful on how much boost I run using Pump 93

 

Hopefully I can get the car back together and start hitting up some autox's and trackdays. Its been a while since I actually drove...
