Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
And just for the record my Evo is still very much street car... It has everything it came with minus the AC only due to my turbo setup don't allow for that luxury.... But it's got all its interior bits everything !!
I can take it on trips go cruise and go to the track and rip off 145+ mph pulls if I want to.... And still load my daughters into the back seat and drive home like Sunday afternoon....
Ok ok I don't see how posting ones results means you feel a sense of entitlement.... Just saying if u were to post results of some super dope autox times I doubt you would recieve sarcastic remarks and sarcastic tags either..... I just don't see why one can't come into the local thread and share results of whatever kind without catching hate that's all !!
if you're going to get bent out of shape about not receiving approval from your peers on the evo board, you might want to re-evaluate your priorities in life.
while we're talking about recent developments and searching for peer approval of our private lives, check this bad boy out. you think running a race car is expensive, you should try a saltwater reef tank.
the lighting on this alone is equivalent to a nice turbo upgrade.

i started out with a 400 watt Metal Halide light. mogul base 6500k color temp, but it was all wrong for the reef. so that light is being re-purposed elsewhere.
these LED ones run much cooler and work much better for fish.

i don't think anyone here is making assumptions or overtures as to who should stay or who should go.
but 30+ year old men getting upset that no one has run in to the thread to love on them is a bit absurd honestly, don't you think?
all i'm saying is that it might be easier to find that "local support" if you took the time be supportive in the community and gave something back to it, instead of perpetuating an entitlement mentality that you're something special.

the sense of entitlement i'm referring to is the one where you come here, post about something, then get upset when no one oohs and ahs over it.

Thanks for the kind words, Dan. As a local who has built their car and gone through their own set of hardships and setbacks to achieve their goals - it's nice to get feedback. I appreciate it.

Yes Justin. I do spend money on my car. That is how you make it go faster. And I never expected you to, "ride my loins". I don't expect those that seldom have their loins ridden to ride mine.
I never said that. It's amazing how bent out of shape you get when I throw in one little passive aggressive jab. I've been the brunt of your "anonymous" insults for years.
So, I wore out my welcome? Why? Because you didn't like me? I was never anything but friendly to you and everyone else. Everytime I run into Brian, I still say hi and compliment him on his car even though I know full well that he was part of your super cool insult crew. I do my best to be an active participant in this community and have used my car to help to advance this platform. You have used this forum as a means to sh** on me and anyone else that is not a part of your circle jerk. Oh, and to advocate for Pit Bulls...on a car forum. Good for you.
Since when is pushing the limits of a platform and setting records with new parts not giving back? What the hell have you done? Bought an overpriced cat back exhaust? That's pretty awe inspiring. You haven't even posted anywhere else in this forum because you think it's so awesome that your total post count is 666. Pretty cool man. This community has really grown with that kind of effort.
Again, I could really care less anymore what you think of me Justin. Admittedly, there was a time when I did care - primarily because I thought it was something that I did and not the simple fact that you're a complete a***ole. Maybe I should have been more specific about that and not lumped all other locals (i.e. Dave) into that mix. He might have a stock vehicle, but he's never been a self-righteous dbag that declares their opinion as the opinion of all that troll this thread.

While we are sharing results here is my latest accomplishment. I plan on taking the car to PRP to verify trap speed and put the car on TPG's dyno. I expect 12-15% lower numbers on the dyno since these are Dynojet figures and TPG's is a Mustang
Congrats on the numbers. Let me know when you are planning on heading on up to TPG.
