Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
i'm a newbie here but i figured pittsburgh would be a happening place for evos....what about trying a meet on the first sunday after new years...obviously weather is always a factor this time of year but if we do it at a bar or restaurant then we can all talk inside...let me know

Yeah that would work, I would be down for that if we can get some people
Okay!
I don't have a bunch of pics but this is what i have.
Blown motor at the end of May.

Then the had Dent Sport Garage build me a new motor. Since i destroyed the whole motor.(block, crank, head) i was looking for someone to help me out with this build. The guys up at DSG are the ones who built my cage in my car and i they have built many good race motors over the years. They hooked me up with a new built 2.0 liter, and built head with some new tomei 280 cams.

Had the car back together at the end of August. I took it for an auto-x and the car ran great. Other then a bit of a mess from the dipstick popping off. I then took it up to Road America to get the car out and really shake it down. Unfortunatly, about 4 laps into the session i blew the turbo manifold gasket. Then, i half *** fixed that (still a slight leak) and went out again. I made it about 3 laps and the car filled with smoke from the turbo going bad and the fix not holding up. Not a fun day! So, at the moment i just have the car on jack stands and am waiting to pull the trigger on a new turbo setup. I'm thinking of an BBK-B or an FP red.
A pic from RA

From Autobahn earlier this year.

My new flocked dash.

And a pic of me after this season.

Wow! Awesome build and great looking car
gah anyone know a good shop around pgh? Only person I really know is Mike over at Baierl... Car is running hella funny and I'm not sure I want to drop stealership labor rates to get it figured out..
JS is now working with TPG..so it's just TPG they are in blairsville...give them a ring
J&S/TPG are pretty good, just don't take it to Biondi in monroeville
I used Early Performance in Uniontown. Not sure how far of a hike that is for you. I'm in Uniontown so it worked great for me.
Give Jared a call 724 880 6400
They just put in a new AWD dyno late last year around Sept - October. Easier to get on and off Early's dyno No ramps to crawl up. Its in the floor

Anyhow, I guess at this point anything is better than nothing. Either baierl or the guys over at J&S...
