I have a few parts I'm gonna have up for sale pretty soon for an evo X, Map performance downpipe with dump pipe, Map performance test pipe, intake with cone filter, and upper intercooler pipe (not 100% sure of brands for those) p.m. me for prices
Borla/UR Catback
Hi everyone,
I was wondering if anyone around Pgh has a Borla/UR Catback on their Evo X or Ralliart, and wouldn't mind letting me check it out in person before I decide which one to go with. We all know that listening to an exhaust on YouTube isn't always accurate, so I'd love the opportunity to hear one or both firsthand before dropping that kind of cash. I drive a '12 RA (hopefully getting an X in the next year or two), and want a deeper "growl", but also don't want to be obnoxiously loud. I'm favoring the tone of the Borla (from vids I have seen), but my main fear is that it may be too loud. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Decided on a build & I need to get my motor out to reuse parts. Yeah I've known Nate for a long time & would definitely trust him to do the job. They seem seriously busy (that time of year I suppose) and I really need to get the build on the road.
From everything that I read, the proper/easiest way to pull the motor from a X is dropping the rack & then dropping the motor/transmission together. My tiny garage does not have the ceiling clearance to do this. Any locals done the job to confirm/deny?
I would assume that Mike only works from the dealership? Dealership labor rates are insane.

eh, dealer rates aren't that bad.
i would rather pay a little more per hour to get the best possible work, and have a well established dealership standing behind the work.
that's like saying that UPMC surgeons cost a lot, and you found a guy downtown that will take your tonsils out for half the price.
