Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Its kinda hard to throw into a genre haha its like a cross between everytime I die and parkway drive. If you go on f.b. type in the real 50 caliber dream you can check it out more haha oh and what's the best place to get my car tuned around the pittsburgh area? I'm gonna use jestr but need a place with the equipment
PRP tonight
not sure if I am going to head up to PRP tonight....seems the heat index is 105 to 108 for 6pm. I don't think that is going to help me pull any good logs with that kind of heat...
I hope you didn't go. The density altitude was nearly 4000ft today...automatically add 3 or 4/10ths to your time.
Prp
I lied....didn't wuss out...and went up to PRP.
Damn was it hot. My logs show air temperature of 132
But, I managed to pull a 12.24 at 110.40 mph (had a 111mph also) Pump 93 gas, early stages of tune
Better than last year, where I was at 12.7's before these mods.
So....with good (normal) weather, should be high 11's.
My sixty could be better, 1.7694 on the 12.24 run

Did you ever get down to J&S to see what you were making?
That is still pretty good. You may have seen an 11 if you got your 60ft into the 1.6's. Your car had to be struggling to breath in 4th if you were only trapping 110. I was trapping 113 when I ran 12.1. Lots of potential there Jim
. Good start!

I was also running with the back seat in, half tank of gas, and 2 cheeseburgers in my belly....

I plan on going down to J&S once I get some more tune changes....then I will have some numbers. I want to get the tune on Pump 93 working as well as I can...then I need to pick up an AFR gauge and work towards E85. Hopefully by September or so I'll be close to riding the E85 train
Glad to hear that the car is running well Jim! I hope to maybe switch to e85 one of these days.
Speaking of good fuel. Anyone interested in a 15gal drum of VP MS109?
How much does J&S charge for dyno use? And not the EVOM price!

The price I got was $60 for 3 dyno pulls....that is "no tuning", just the pulls. Which is pretty reasonable I think.
Picked up a 9mm Glock from Ace Sporting Goods in Washington. Bed Bath and Beyond coupons were extra.

Saw a White 10 dropped on gold wheels on my way home on 79. Anyone on here?

nice.
there are quite a few of us evo owners that are armed to the teeth at all times. love it.

do you have a CCW permit?
Hey...tried to view the event schedule...but your .doc seems to be in MAC format...won't open for me. Any place where I can see the details for the event?
Pro Sport Gauges
Anyone have these gauges here in the Pittsburgh area? Just wondering how good they are. I need to pick up an AFR gauge, and found these...super cool looking with the blue and red. I was going to go with the AEM AFR UEGO gauge, but these look too cool...
