I was thinking STU vs SMS.

STU is what a lot of evos and stis seem to run in, but it requires 245 tires, so I've been running SMS, which is Street Mod, Street Tire.
ST (u) doesn't allow the boost modifications, iirc.

I'm not too familiar with BSP, but seeing the cars that run in it, I'm sure boost modification is allowed.

I'll be up at North Park on Sunday...and with my cams, I'll be in SM class. I don't think NHSCC uses SMS, just SMF (front wheel drive), and SM (street mod). I wasn't aware they had a tire race vs street.

Anyways...also heading up to PRP tonight to see how the new tune runs.

Praying the rain stays away...just need a few runs to break those damn 11's.

11's

Finally...took a few tries and had to bump up the launch control back to 6000 rpms. Managed a best at 11.76 at 117.55 mph still on 28psi boost. My sixty foot was "ok", but could stand some improvement at 1.7345

Timeslip attached

Yeah, but that is mostly for serious bracket racing. I'm not planning on going rear-drive and automatic anytime soon.

Yep...I just have to get with Mike and get the Tial BOV installed so I can turn it up to 30psi, maybe next week.

Too busy the next few days... Beaver Run today (if no rain) and Auto X on Sunday...no time for downtime for upgrades this weekend.

Diet? Hey...whats wrong with carrying an extra 20lbs around...the wife calls them love handles for a reason

Congrats Jim. Getting a set of those Hoosier QTP would certainly help your times a great deal.

Also because you consider a turbo upgrade, have you followed the BW EFR turbo thread? The few posts of people testing them show much better promise over FP offerings.

Urget urgent help needed

I tried to start my car this morning and I have no clutch. I still have a good feeling from the pedal and I checked the fluid but it's not disengaging from the motor. I had one hard start last night and could smell the clutch for a while. Now this morning, I suspect it's frozen to the flywheel.

Please help. Any suggestions or tips. I know a new clutch and master cylinder are what I really need. But, can anyone offer tips on getting it running in the mean time.

Thanks. Please call or text me if can offer some help or insights 724 - eight five eight- 765 two.

I don't know why I typed my number like that but I see people do it on craigs list.

did you check the slave cylinder for any damage, and make sure the clutch line is still intact?

see any fluid leaks anywhere around that look suspicious?

I didn't check under the car, but I still had fluid in the resevoir and the clutch pedal still felt stiff and came back off the floor.

I'm not with the car right now. I hopped on my bike and rode to work, but my head is not at work yet.
