Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Congrats Jim. I kno you've been shooting for those 11's for a long time.
As for auto-x classes. Only some places actually have a street tire class. And if they do then you can run BSP(s or t, whatever they call it). In theory SM should be faster the BSP. Now around here, there are not all that many that run SM anymore so BSP with Frank and Kristi in it are for sure faster then SM at the moment.
Dave, any actual racing event will have rules for classing. It's not just for bracket racing.

I was able to do some more investigating. I have the car up on stands. I can look through the service port while someone (my wife) presses the clutch pedal. I can watch the slave cyclinder work. Through the port I can see the throw out bearing pushing against the spring. It just won't disengage from the motor. With the car up, I can force it into 1st. The wheels spin if I have the clutch in or out. I watched the spring TOB work and push on the spring while everything is spinning. It just won't seperate from the motor.
Has anyone dealt with this? Is the pressure plate fused to the flywheel? How do I get it off? Is the flywheel scrap now?

Thanks guys.
I got a blue one with the sight and sound package. Will not have a car without HID's again.
The radio is nice too. The bluetooth stuff is quite clever. I can't find a bad thing to say about it other then its big. I thought the CT9A was a good sized but this is much bigger feeling. Definately turns sharp and though I have not run it out yet the powerband is MUCH fatter.

Nice congradulations on the X!!
Went to beaver run autocross today and was 1.5 secs slower than the fastest cars which were 2 Exiges. They were both the S model or racing model. Considering my tires are complete **** and im on stock suspension except for my rear sway bar, i thought i did pretty good! I cant wait to pick up some coilovers and grab a decent set of tires.
Also for the autocross on sunday i wish i could go, but i have to work at 2:30. Maybe ill shoot up there around 10am and watch for a bit!
