Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
So my friend took his evo 10 to Pittsburgh raceway and he got his time slip back and it said he went 11.716 at 117?!?! with a 1.7 60ft.... He has less than 300awhp because his only mods are a home made axle back exhaust and test pipe and intake... his car has full interior plus driver thats easily around 3600lbs. He sent me a picture of the time slips so i cant say hes lieing but how does any of that make sense??? Buscur went 11.7 with 420awhp with their evo 10 and a respected driver..

You could go tomorrow. PRP is having an Import night and there will be a 4 and 6 cylinder shootout. I'll be there as long as the weather holds out.
As to your friend running an 11.7@117...I don't see how that is remotely possible with those modifications. He would have to be making as much power as my car is making now to run those times. If he isn't b.s.ing the times, he is definitely b.s.ing the mods.

What time are you going?! ive only been there once and followed a friend.. and noo the kid totaled the car, and some place bent frame back and fixed the whole thing, only thing he has now is test pipe, axle back and intake. thats why i was like theres no freaking way he ran those times.. he sent me the time slips and it says evo A.E which is his first and last name. I dont even think the place that fixed his car touched his motor either... Idk im just really confused.. unless pittsburgh raceway mixed up all of his times.. his other runs he sad were 12.14 and 11.9? which i can see those times with full bolt ons and exedy twin disc because thats what im shooting for, but i have easily 70awhp on him..

Whats up pittsburgh, just wanted to stop in and say goodbye. Sold the evo yesterday. I figure I will be in the tags forever, but oh well.... Sorry for all the drama over the years...
I'm leaving work at 5, will be there about 5:45-6. It is really easy to get to, just use GPS or PM me your number and I could meet you somewhere. If that is his slip, he has ALOT of other work going on. You have to be making significant power to trap 117mph in a 3600lb car. There is something he is not telling you or something he doesnt know about his car.
PRP just cancelled their sport compact event for tonight. Not sure if ya'll heard.
There's no way Amir has only those mods and is trapping 117. There's something he's not telling you or the times are wrong.

I am real curious what parts he really has on the car. My X went 12.6 @ 109 with full exhaust, intake & a mild 93 tune.
