Yeah, I ended up going to Waynesburg. Lost hard. Made it to the semifinals, but lost to a 600+hp gutted/caged Talon. I've raced the guy in the past and won, but it basically comes down to whether or not he gets his car into gear - he's had tranny issues for awhile but didn't against me that day.

I also lost to a blue 1g that I destroyed last year. He upgraded his turbo, went to a built auto, used nitrous to spool the turbo off the line, GT3076R on E85, etc. He beat the Green 1g Talon that I raced in the semi-final.

The DSM boys definitely came to play. I had them out of the hole, but just couldn't keep up with their top end. I think I'm done with FLD for awhile. Just going to focus on breaking into the 10's and going after the stock cam/turbo record of 10.88. Mounted M/T motorcycle slicks on my BBS wheels yesterday - came in at 28lbs, haha. Launching is gonna be intense - just hope my tcase can handle it.

 

Well...at least you put up a good showing...as they say, there is always someone faster out there. I will probably go to a few more. I am so pissed that I am still waiting for my GSC S2 cams to show up....its bulls**t that this company lies to you in email and over the phone that things are shipping...and they are not.

I have to rethink my upgrade now...as I am going another direction ..just don't know what it is going to be yet.
