Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Yeah, I've had a twin disk for 20k+ miles now. Curt's catches at a slightly different point if that is what you were wondering. Its a bit of a laggier turbo too (albeit not by much), so you have to slip it right or it will have a greater chance of falling on its face.
That's gay. Did they purposely shut off the timing devices or were they broken? The fact you could get a slip or idea of what you were running in the 1/8th was supposed to be the main attraction there.
I don't want Curt to show up. It's nice to have a chance at winning, haha.

From the stories i hear. There were a few pikes peak hillclimbers that came out to run Mt washington. They arrived at the mountain and saw the road. They packed up and left, saying "i'm not racing up that road".
They are both great events and are pretty equal in history. Climb to the clouds is a more technical hillcimb with narrower roads and a few drops that are very close to the road. Now pikes peak is longer and much higher altitude which is a huge thing. Plus pikes peak also had more dirt. Altho, it should be fully paved by next year i believe. I do plan on running pikes peak within the next few years.
They are both amazing racing events IMO.

Looking for a decent shop within an hour radius of Pittsburgh where I can get an alignment and whiteline front roll centre kit and front control arm bushings installed.
McB's - you basically need to make an appoinment a month in advance. Any help would be appreciated, I'm trying to get it done this week.
Thanks!

I thought Mike was a given when it came to working on EVO's? NO ONE's BETTER! (altho, he is my chief mechanic at the climb to the clouds race, so he will be out out the office next week.
)
Recent new's has Vermont sportcar pulling out a ringer to run in the class i'm running. http://climbtotheclouds.com/subaru-a...ton-hillclimb/

Well, this is officially about as big as "playing with the big dogs" as it gets now! And if you look at the entry list again it is the most epic Suby vs
battleground. WHO WILL BE VICTORIOUS?

Any other options than Baierl? I just had a bad experience with that dealership and needless to say I won't go back so much as to buy an oil filter. I know Mike is the best, if he worked for any another dealership I would go to him in a heartbeat. I'm not going to badmouth a dealership/business on the internet, if you want the details PM me. Thanks for all your help guys. When it comes to suspension I'm just not sure who to trust.

Well if your not going to go to Bariel then the next step is do most of it yourself. Or, if you ever read the tags there is another shop that does work. I'm sure they could do this for you. Its not really all that hard of a job. It is alot easier with a press but if your creative, you can use a big *** vice. Now, as for alignment. I'd just go to NTB if you don't have any special request.
pghdsm, i keep seeing you on mcknight rd. but i'm in the work van so no chance of you remembering me. but moore performance is a place to try as well. pm me and i'll give you the info.
