Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
If anyone is nterested, Beaverun is having time trials/BRA races this coming weekend. It's possible they will have group 1 and 2 driver sessions this weekend also.
When I find out more info I will let you guys kno. As of right now I'm racing on Sat if anyone is thinking of coming out.
Patrick, I'm expecting to see the orange Phlyer out there!

He has only done a set of rims, he bought a stage 4 cosworth motor for his 08sti that he is fixing.
Test & Tune tomorrow 4pm-8.
I'm betting the track will be pretty empty so you can get tons of time in.

If anyone ever wanted to come out to run yet are too worried about wrecking check this out. Hpdeins.com they sell insurance for track days. It's around $170ish for a weekend from what I can tell.
Eric, I had mentioned this before that regular insurance would cover it. But, things have been changing. Alot of the insurance company's have gotten smart to that loop hole. The only way to kno is contact your agent and get it in writting that they cover you. Either way, none of the options are legit if there is any timing going on.

Maybe I am getting old but to me that makes sense.
That is exactally the case with myself and I haven't heard of an insurance company that doesn't cover driver education events yet. I think you should even get a discount if you track your car regularly.
I'm probably going to be pulling my Seibon CF hood off soon - anyone around interested in trading for a stock hood? I have a set of BNIB aerocatch hood latches for it too.
you might want to ask around if you've never heard of any not covering cars. Drivers education is different then performance driver education.

Read your policies carefully! As Jermey mentioned there are very few (if any) insurance companies that will cover you in any type of "closed course" event regardless if it is considered untimed "driver education".
