buttons are in their by tension- take the plate off with the buttons and then pop out.

 

take gauge cluster bezel out
you should be able to rip it out now.

I still don't get how to take those buttons/switches out? Just push? I feel like I'm gonna break it.

if you look at the back of the plastic faceplater you will see the buttons are just snapped into place.

are you using a heat gun? bc that is necessary
