PCD: Last year's version
Thai, all I hear is wah wah wah I didn't win my hoosiers because of double dipping c5 vette, and mad excuses son. Maybe you should have had an instructor this weekend or someone sit in for Monti. Maybe ask Phil or Mike for some tips next time since they drive awd boost buggies and are faster, or are you too good for that?
All I hear is wah, my bench racing predictions were wrong
Actually both TT2 and TT3 were dominated by C5s right? TTU was won by a Element Subaru with the FTD? Thought Subys overheat or blow up?? I thought Monti is hard on hardware?
You do know Phil's subbie has gone through 2 motors in the past few months? He's on his third motor at this event. You do know that it blew up in its first hot lap in the practice session at the last NARRA event? Not saying Subarus don't last, just that its expected
It's always easy to point out things when you're not directly involved in the situation as you can see. You guys been giving me ish like this for a good amount of time, acting like gods gift to track.. dominating HPDEs, just saying don't dish it if you cant take it.
You are a master of the bench my friend

i give Scott props for being 2 seconds faster than me in his C5. he works at that track and has over 100 hours on that track. and his C5 was 10 mph faster than me on the straight. i wanted him to sit in the car with me but he was too busy, i ain't to proud for that son. don't get that **** twisted.
i've seen Element subie at lots of events, and they always had issues with it. remember NARRA at NJMP? and last several other times last year. it also had issues this weekend but was fixed. and it only does few laps on track for TT, not whole session. i guess it's hard to keep things reliable when pushing anything to 800 whp. i was more talking about mildly moded subies. FYI, me and foren helped pushed a new subie on to a trialer, guess why? i don't know why you think you need to talk all this **** when you weren't there. you don't even come out to enough events to know what the eff goes on around track days and competition days. you did a GTA event and you an expert now?
i can take what i dish out, but you aint got nothing to dish out fool cause you alwaystalkingoutofyourass
My predictions were just for fun to stir the pot, not serious. But it sure got Thai from last to 1st of the group of the TED group.
I know Element has had issues this year and that's why they ran FR-S at Tbolt because of failure. Still doesn't change getting pimped by a bolt on c5 and stock R35.
Not a master at anything racing, that includes bench, never will for anything in racing.
Get YOUR facts straight.

I heard the GT-R belongs in TT-1. Just hearsay...

i didn't even read your "poke fun" post till i got home, so you didn't urge me for ****. like your BS could ever motivate me to do anything

Yeah I wasn't there. Just saying you need a big piece of humble pie. I would have no reason to talk crap and point out your shortcomings if you guys didn't come at me like you're some pros. That goes for Marc too with his questionably modded car for a certain class. Not dealing with you guys crap anymore, unless it is constructive on a professional level for track, not degrading bs talk, and not being said to feed/fuel your minion followers. Sorry if I don't like or fit into your TED hierarchy or believe everything y'all say for what I put on my car or technique with MY car.
At first when I went to the track with y'all I thought it would be fun, have some laughs get some more pointers for the Evo. But it quickly began **** talking, questioning my skills and purpose on track. You guys are absolute bags for that crap. I've never seen or experience the lack of respect and sportsmanship in individuals. Everyone I have come in contact outside of PCD has been helpful in my endeavors and only up building.
Hell when I look at all the 1:22s I ran in the car on the tires and power. Mikes 1:18 on those toyos (RA1?), cams and e85 seem reachable for me in the same config and Mike is a hell of a driver too. We had about the same amount of seat time on Lightning with an Evo as well. But I get crap for my times?
So pardon my brief b!tchassness on past events.

^ again, still don't have your facts straight cause you aint there. the C5 was 10 mph faster than me on straight. bolt on or not, it's still has more power than me. and where did you get your facts about stock R35? since when did stock R35 make 600 whp? and running Hoosiers slicks, not even DOT hoosier. i talked to the driver, he told me what was done to the car. he was supposed to be in higher class, but i didn't think to protest till i got home.

Im just gonna come right out and say it... Nelson, why are you even hanging around all of us if all we do is give you ****? Do you enjoy being the butt of all our jokes and being ridiculed constantly? Is that the kind of (negative) attention you crave?
If I were in your shoes, and a group of people much more experienced than myself were constantly telling me to STFU or that I'm an idiot out on track, I would be looking for a new group to hang with. I mean, don't you have any other friends, or is this what you consider 'the norm' for you?

Do you need to talk for Thai or Marc? Were you on Monti this weekend? Exactly. that's the problem with you, always getting into the business and ganging up when convenient. Nobody cares what you've driven or what you think because that's the not the topic at hand.
Don't be like that. Take it like a man, blame the driver, not the cars. What did that R35 have? Hoosiers, intake, TBE and CobbAP? You have way more mods and are lighter weight than that R35, mad excuses. Welcome to my world.

"blame the driver, not the cars" cause thats what you do, right?
Give me a break, all you do is blame your car. If its not the tires its the ACD or the suspension or the power. Let me break it down for you, son. At GTA you went out and ran a 22. Then had Fortune Auto help you 'setup' your suspension, then you went out and ran a 22. They you had them tweak your alignment, then you went out and ran a 22... it must be the car holding you back because the driver is obvisouly getting all he can out of the car, I mean, look at the IMPROVEMENTS when you made changes/adjustments to your setup.
A real driver who was getting more than 20-30% out of their setup would have noticed a difference with those changes and it would have been reflected in their lap times, good or bad there would have been a change. You have NO change in your times, that means you aren't even close to the potential of the car. Hate to say it but the car ain't hold you back, son, its you.
i haven't been with PCD long, definitely not OG in here. there are plenty of others that haven't been on here long and they don't get **** handed to the them. we welcome them and give them any info that they ask for. why is it that you're the only one that gets treated this way. did you ever stop and look at yourself.
when did i say i was pro or insinuate that i was pro? do you have selective hearing? i have always approached people who i think could help me advance on track or know something about cars that i don't. how do you think i learn if i don't ask for help? i didn't just woke up one night and know how to work on cars and become a HPDE instructor. i always walk up to other drivers at the track and ask them what they are doing that's making them faster, and would always try out what they suggest to me. i aint too proud for that son.
it doesnt matter what mods the R35 has, 600 whp is 600 whp. the fact is that i talked to the driver and you didn't. ported and aftermarket wheel for the turbo is one thing he mentioned. even at 4000 lbs, his power to weight ration is 6.6:1 is still much lower than my 9:1. do your ricer math fool. fact is he was supposed to be in a higher class, but it's done and over and i don't care. i'll make sure he's in the right class next time.
and yes, Ben was faster than me in a lower class, and it was also his first time at the track. he's a heck of a driver and i take nothing away from him.
