If you think about it, wouldn't it be wise for the old folks to teach the yougins how to do it. We never have Newbs in control of anything important, but our region tries to train people how to do things so they are useful when we run the event. Once someone works the truck for a few events they are usually good to go, its not rocket science that we are doing here ya know

So its cool that you slapped these fools around, but I have no idea if you drove well or not. I need to watch the other videos and I am going to offer my critique of the driving..
Its definitely not the best for what you want to do, but I don't think it's bad angle. I like the front camera because it really shows off the speed. A lot of people who watch from the sidelines think its slow until they sit in the car. I will have the inside camera points behind the driver next time.

Its not really speed, just looks faster from that angle. I know what you mean and have used that angle more than once, but after looking at videos every which way it seems the best angle for autox is on top of car centered. If you are looking for something specific I sometimes mount camera on side of car. If you like the angle then by all means keep doing it, but try and get the angle I am talking about so we can critique the video for real, all joking aside. Sometimes you can learn a lot about what you are or are not doing from video. Simmons breaks down every video I post for me, I actually text him if he doesn't do it on his own.

that's nice and dandy if you have people who step up and volunteer but we have a hard time of getting volunteer for that sort of work. the noob come and go, and the pros just want to show up and concentrate on setting up their cars for national.

Not a drift fan, but Tanner Foust is a beast. One take, no tire marks when he was doing this ish on a mountain road, prolly the most impressed I have ever been with a drifter..
