as of right now my focus is to hit the nasa event there end of september...need to up my NASA cred this year.

i am slacking on my schedule for july tho...im thinking about nasa at pocono, but i just saw video of the infield entrance after the re pave and its barely any better than it use to be.

im also only allowed to request one weekend off between june and september...

The GVC event is right before the NASA weekend, which would be great practice if you're TT"ing.

I will be at the Pocono NASA event, aka grand slam weekend. I recall the transition from the infield to the oval was pretty nasty last time i was there, which was a number of years ago. I heard the repave they did was pretty good, I'll find out when I go there on May 24th with HOD.

 

I don't see how they let me in intermediate.


Any links to Pocono dates? I may be interested in something around July.

 

dude, i havent even done 1 nasa event...probably be 2 more years before i can get signed off for TT lol. ill post the pocono video for you when i get home from work tonight.

Nate, you don't have to do a certain number of events with NASA to be able to do TT. you just have to be qualify for HPD4 group which if you think you are ready, you can request for a check out ride. if you've been solo with other clubs already, i think you could start out at HPD3 and work your way up to HPD4 and get your TT license at the same time. Check with Jordan (chief instructor) when you do the next nasa event.
