You looking at theoretical lap or your fastes lap. Cuz I could find my fastest corners from all the laps also

Also by faster do you mean average speed from turn into track out or just slowest speed through the corner. I drive slow in fast out foo.

You didn't say anything about me only using my fast lap, you said "If chu can find any section of that track where you were faster than me on that video on my two hot lap, I'll give you $5 for each section. "

Also, you had open track for 3-4 laps. I was one of the last in grid and did not have that luxury. You were also on r-comps, which come up to temp much quicker than my street tires, so it would be harder for me to put down a fast lap earlier in the shession like you... but for the record I was looking at my fast lap when I made the comparison. I will however be cherry picking my sector times now that you brought it up.

We are talking about who is taking a corner faster, as in who had the quickest slow speed in the corner. Again, per your exact words; "If chu can find any section of that track where you were faster than me on that video on my two hot lap, I'll give you $5 for each section."

Good for you on driving fast in slow out, I drive fast in fast out, foo. Thats my thing!

A section is not a single point on track. A corner is a section, from corner entry to corner exit.

Street tires don't take long to warm up. That's why they overheat after two laps. If chu can't get heat in them in two laps, then chu driving like a little hoe.

you said "any section of track", not corner entry to corner exit, foo. Next time be more clear when you're talking smack!

overheat after 2 laps... da *** you talking about? They're not even up to temp after two laps. I can run hard for a full session and my tires don't overheat. Try running at 10/10ths on street tires on your first lap like you can on Rcomps and see how that works out for you.

FYI, my fastest lap was my 3rd lap, caught traffic after that and couldn't put a clean lap together without a section getting fuged up... in other words, I dominated chu on cold tires.

My fastest lap on hoho is usually second lap if I can drive consistent. Street tires, nt05 is usually 2nd or 3rd lap and they drop off slightly after that. Same with all season tires.

If they grid us by time, then faster guy should be in front of chu. I caught up to slow traffic after my third hot lap, but im also in the front. So chu should have more time before chu catch up to traffic, ie the instructors that they let out after the second hot lap.

So, Spa was awesome...THe Spa 24H race wrapped up on Sunday before we got into town and most of the teams were staying the night so we had some beers (good, local, Belgium beers) with some of the AMG and Lamborghini factory team guys at a local brasserie on Sunday night. Monday came too early then....though remarkably I was not hung over (it is well known I am a light weight drinker).

RSRSpa was supporting six or eight cars for the day: Me and another guy both in Clio Cups, a Menagne 2.6R, a BAC Mono, an MP4-12C, a F458, and a 1-series race car...plus there were two clients with their own cars (a Scottish guy with his STI and a US ex-pat with his GT3). I can't say enough about how great the entire day was and how accommodating the RSR guys were--coffee, water, snacks, lunch, everything was top notch.

I hired an instructor for my first session and had RSR owner, Ron, as my coach...he drove two laps to show me car placement then we swapped seats...took me that entire session (30 minutes) to get comfortable with the Clio's brakes and gearbox, but it started to come together.

Eau Rouge is every bit as spectacular as you imagine. The run up, or actually down is steep...I never realized how much down hill that straight is out of La Source...it's steep. Entry into Eau Rouge is tighter and requires commitment and precision...if you miss you mess up the run up the hill and put yourself in a tight spot at corner exit, which is blind and on the back side of the hill and right into the pit out blend...Ron made it clear that the most dangerous part of a lap at Spa is leaving the pits because if some one comes flying over Eau Rouge and loses it, you are going to get clobbered.

170-something-kph down Kemmel (I drove faster on the Autobahn in my Peugeot 506 1.6l TD rental car) into the right-left-right combo Les Combes, which is not too different from Lightning 2-3-4. Rivage is tricky, downhill, no camber assist so patience is rewarded and getting it right is important to get good speed for the entry into Pouhon.

Pouhon. Damn, that is a tricky corner. Long, downhill, double-apex left, no camber assist...huge run off on the right....a little brake to settle the nose just before turn in...set the wheel and steer with the throttle, clip first apex, drive to the outside curbs, stand on the gas and hit the second apex....this corner was my nemesis all day...might have gotten it right twice. Fanges is another right-left-right combo...pretty straight forward...but getting the exit right helps set up for Stavelot which is crucial for getting all the speed you can down the long back section that includes the double-apex Blanchimont...a foot to the floor, blind exit, left hand kink...attachments required. Got it really wrong once and had to use some of the run off area.

Hard on the brakes for the super tight chicane that replaced the bus top...foot to the floor for the short straight that serves as the starting grid for F1, then the hard right La Source...and back down the hill, almost scraping the right side mirror on the jersey barrier.

My best lap was a 3:28...lots of 3:30s. Traffic was quite tricky, especially since 1) the only car slower than me was a Miata, b) there are no passing rules, just pass anywhere, anytime, no point by required...though I used my turn signals to indicate where I was going to put my car. I was sharing the track with 25 other cars...mostly 911s of one style or another...the next most common car? MP4-12Cs...there must have been five or six of them...all flying. Plus a handful of Ferraris (a couple 458 and a couple 430s) and one Z06 and one Gumpert Apollo (holy fug was that thing fast and loud).

I've got video, but won't have time to edit it for couple weeks (LeMons at NJMP this weekend--you fools should come down and hang out/watch, especially Marc and Pete since you are the two most likely to man up and do wheel-to-wheel racing).

Already planning next year's trip.

You know the scene in Truth in 24 where McNish describe one lap of Circuit de la Sarthe. Justin just did that for me for Spa. Hard on...
