Eau Rouge is a much faster turn-to-turn transition than WGI T2-Esses is...and the compression that occurs at the apex of the left turn portion is wild...The esses feel almost lazy compared to the entry in Eau Rouge...

I decided to not edit video and am just sending it to YouTube...uploading a portion of my second session now, should be done in a bit.

Imagine the compression you would feel in a real race car.

Link to my second session at Spa. The last ten minutes of this session got cut off...my GoPro split this into two clips and I didn't bother to edit them together.

I didn't have any problems....but if you were a novice to intermediate HPDE driver in the US you'd have thought you were in a multi class race all day and likely would have had sheet metal damage early on. There are no point by rules and no designated passing zones, so you could have an MP4-12C barreling down Kemmel at 170mph and dive bomb you into Les Combes.

The gentlemanly thing to do as the slower car was to use your turn signals to indicate what side of the track you were going to drive on...the ettiquette is still to "drive the line" but I always gave the faster cars the "racing line" through corners...had a few guys thank me for good, heads up driving through out the day.

Not me...couldn't get an instructor's spot as I tried to register too late.

yeah. I've heard other countries use turn signals as point by. That sounds more consistent as some people can't point by but then it could be dangerous if they left the turn signal on. We all know how annoying that is on the street. Lol

I know Tim S recently tried to register and was put on a waiting list. I just registered last week and got in because I'm in A-Solo and don't need an instructor. I think you're too late if you haven't already, Chu.

Sign up anyways though, you might still get in.

Ninja: I think Nick is going, have to double check with Marc on that though.

I tried to register the week after I passed ITS...I spoke with the registrar directly and he said he had over 30 wait-listed instructors and he usually cut off the wait list at 10. Shrug.
