Truer words were never spoken.
Since you guys didn't come down to watch the Lemons race you wouldn't know how awesome it was. 140 cars on Thunderbolt. There were cars that could turn laps in the 1:44-2:00 range all day long and there were cars that couldn't break the 2:50 barrier with a strong tailwind.
We fielded three cars, the #903 Integra, the #902 E30, and my #901 E36. The E30 was in the top-5 pretty much the entire race. The Integra was in the top-20 overall (and top 5 in class). The E36 made it into the top-30 on Saturday (we started seven laps down due to penalties), but never had a chance to really climb the leader board becuase some d-bag in a Pustang overcooked the Devil's Elbow and needed eight wheels to make the corner--four of them being mine. Was the hardest hit I've ever taken in a race car. Put a big dent in the right front just behind the wheel and broke the rear wheel on the right side....we pitted to repair damage and got back out pretty quickly but already lost another 4-5 laps.
Our next driver overcooked T1 a little later and ripped the front bumper cover off our car on another car. Not a bif deal except the bumper cover sat on the outside of T1 for four hours. Again, not a big deal except our transponder was attached to the bumper that was sitting on the outside of T1. Timing and scoring gave us laps based on our previous average time, but we never got all of them back.
Sunday we were in "support-the-902" mode. Run interference, break up traffic, and the like so they could battle for the overall lead. The E30 held the lead for a while later in the day, then had an off and that cost us a few laps, giving the lead over to the eventual race winner. 30 minutes to go in the race and the E30 developed a misfire so we parked it. Still finished P11.

We ended up P31 (of 68 in class) and P44 (of 140 overall). The Integra finished P20 overall and P4 in class even though it got parked for the last hour when one of our drivers became a raging efftard and sped through the pits--he will not be invited back to drive with us.

haha geeze a little harsh guys! 
Havent been in here and two years. Well im gonna go but not participate, usually she is put away by that time and wont be back out until next year. but I can make a exception and come out get to know everyone all over again :/
