I went there last week. I told him I really had my heart set on an MR and he asked me why. Was it because I liked the "little bumps" on the top,... and an assortment of other questions which assumed I knew nothing about what makes an MR different. As a girl I'm used to people dumbing down the car talk with me, but that guy treated me like a complete idiot. He also told me I'd never get an MR since only 300 were made! Then he followed me around trying to sell me a new Eclipse, even though I told him I'm not interested several times.

And he told me "That's a cool tattoo,.... that's the slippery when wet one, right?" Dumbass

A little off topic, but I just got back from screwing around at Beaverton Mitsu (was curious about the new eclipse) and they had an 05 Red Evo priced at 50 grand on the showroom floor...Insane!!! It looked awesome though, it had some Toyo Tires with TSW rims, Carbon fiber hood, cf trunk and wing, Injen intake, aftermarket heatshield, perrin radiator hose, interior panelling matched the red exterior, the cheap guages, and that's about it.

The sales guy proceeded to tell me that it had 10-15 grand in mods so that was why it was 50 grand. I told him that was a joke and he then told me I obviously didn't know how expensive it is to mod and Evolution...I just laughed.

Just thought I'd share it was a nice Evo though.

In the end I think Car dealerships and salespeople in general are always looking out for #1 first... themselves. Just be educated, set some limits before you even walk on the lot, go near the end of the month, and be truly willing to walk.

It has always has worked for me and I never pay sticker. I went to Hanna only because it was convenient for me. Got the deal I wanted on exactly what I wanted including color (black), full custom black leather interior, small wing, and only 7 miles on the ODO (shrink wrap still on hood and doors)… so I didn't need to go anywhere else.

Anywhere still have new 04's in stock? That'd be a nice find if there were. I'll probably end up in an '05 but thought I'd ask. I was looking to go used but for just a little more, new is much nicer.

I actually drove the used red one before i bought mine. I scared the $h!t out of the salesman that rode with me. I actually got caught by one of those flashes at the light that i guess give you tickets for running red light or speeding. I am not from oregon, so i just saw a bright flash and the salesman looked at me and laughed and said you just got a ticket. I said no I didnt, the dealership just did.

anyways, they were dirt bags. they offered me 84 months and i said there is no way i am dealing 84 mo financing. so after leaving twice, them calling me to come back, they took the brand new red one off the showroom and and said they would accomodate my payment i requested, i said cool, then went into financing and found out why they got me the payment i wanted, they had it at 84 mo financing just like i specifically told them not too. A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME!! Dirtbags IMO!!

A had a bada$$ drive with the used one though.

I was down in Corvallis visiting friends this weekend and found an '04 in Apex Silver sitting on the lot. The salesman attempted to sell me on the smokin' deal of $30k because it was last year's model. What a deal! I'm sure they'd give it up very inexpensively if anyone is interested, mine has to be Wicked White.

I work fleet sales at a dealership in Beaverton and as a word of advice to everybody, stay away from anthing to do with Joe Khorasani and Premier Auto Group (Beaverton Mitsubishi among many others). They have the worst reputation for eveything in the dealer world. They rip people off, have crappy service (I've experienced first hand) and are staffed by the salespeople/managers that have been fired from everywhere else. From my experience Dick Hannah is the place to go for Mitsu service and sales. T&C sales is alright but their service will leave a bad taste in your mouth.

If you want to go with an STi let me know. The auto group I work for has a Subaru franchise, the largest one in the nation actually. I work at a different store but since I'm fleet I can sell new Subaru's as well. I work on salary and I'll just sell it to you at cost. Let me know.

Dick Hannah got rid of their Mitsu Dealership. Best advise I can give you is to go to Rey Reece on the east side and talk to the fleet guy and he'll give you a good deal. If you're gonna go buy a car, it's pretty safe to just go to the fleet guy. They usually don't BS you around and they don't work off of commision.

Damn that sucks. They were the only Mitsu dealer I could ever get any warranty work done at.
