I test drove an Evo there like a year ago with a friend, and they were alright for car sales people, I guess. We were kind of laughing about how the car sales guy we were with was driving the HELL out of an evo RS that had like 30 miles on it I don't think I'd have bought the one we were driving, hehe. I'm not sure if we got lucky or what, because I have heard some not so great things about them.

Slow financing department, both mentaly and physicaly. My sales guy was okay but a newbie at the time, he should be better now.

Parts department is slow, under stafed, has no inventory, takes over a week to get parts.

Overall you should get a good price because they usually have alot of Evo's, but I would not go there post-purchase.

I just bought mine at TC Mitus out in Gladstone. Did thru the Costco Car Program. That way you don't have to deal the the $5000 mark-up especially if you have something to trade. I went to Beaverton Mitsu and the guy I was dealing with was a *****. He is your tipical salesman you see on TV. Starts off by "I the only one who sells evo here" but when I rode in with him it seem it was the first time he's driven an Evo. Anyways I end up not buying with them cuz they kept on trying to minipulate the numbers and kept thinking I was stupid or something. Tell me is does this seem like a good deal? I had a 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 2WD and they wanted it for 16K and sell the evo for 30K, then I said No. They asked what I wanted and I wanted 24K cuz bluebook had it for 24K plus I had $1000 worth of mods, (I bought it for 24K, when blue book was 29K). Then they said ok, but then they said they have to sell the Evo for 37K (MSRP 32K+5K markup). I go wait... That the same damn thing, and you must be ****'n me, I want 24K and the Evo for 30K. We went back and forth and them trying to change the numbers here and there and I said forget it and left.

TC Mitsu was a lot nicer and the service dept is a lot cooler (my friend has an evo and has had some issue with there service department). If you need a part they can get it for you pretty quickly. They get shippment every Tuesday and Thursday. If you have a costco card, go to costco.com and check out there car buying department, it'll make you go thru their fleet service and you don't have to deal with the onterage of salesman. It's just you, the fleet sales person, and her manager. They don't bring in anyother people. If you go to TC, Susan the the person I bought the car thru.

Beaverton Mitsu treated me like **** because I drove up in my wife's POS Cavalier and didn't look like I could swing an EVO. They wanted to run my credit just to test drive one.

I said thanks but no thanks and I called up Mike King at TC Mitsu in Gladstone. I drove home my electric blue EVO that night for $2.5k under sticker price. The financing took a little while but I thought it was a good experience overall.

I didnt have any issues with Beaverton Mitsu buying my car. They sold it to me for 29.5 back in 2003 when the car first came out. I have been happy with the service department thus far as well. Jack has really treated me well and the Techs there know quite a bit about the Evo's. Andy has done most of the work on mine, including a full tranny rebuild, and I have never gotten any slack for having a full exhaust, boost controller, and UTEC installed. They did however mention that when I put my cams in that I void the Powertrain warranty but I can understand that. I think the sales staff there is pretty poor though and your best bet is to ask for the sales manager right away.

The Service department is good. As far as the sales staff and the sales manager, they are a bunch of ******. If I could do it all over again I would have gotten my EVO somewhere else. I traded in an '03 eclipse for the Evo, the deal was for me to take the Evo home for the night and I was going to come back the next day to take out ALL of my stereo equipment out of the eclipse. Next day went to Beaverton Mitsu to grab my stereo equipment and it was all gone. The only way anybody could have gotten into the car and stolen the stuff was with the key and alarm remote in the office or breaking a window to get in. No sign of breaking in so obviously someone used the remote to get it which meant it was someone that worked there. Beaverton Mitsu would not comp my loss since I couldn't prove anything was in my car when I left it there. Funny thing is one of the sales guys had complimented me on the system I had in the car and when he was asked later if there was a system in the car he said he didn't remember. I'd go somewhere else, that's just my two cents.

I had a good experience buying my Evo at Hannah Mitsu in Vancouver. They don't always have very many in stock, but got the price I wanted. Worked with Ken as the sales manager and Shawn.

i drove in from seaside the night before i bought with my 8 minth pregnant wife at like 9 PM to go to dick hannah because they "promised" me 500 below invoice. i faxed up the credit app i had already filled out before i left, they said they had the color i needed blah blah blah. it was the end of the month and they were trying to meet their quota. anyway when i got there (two hours later) they started bsing about how they needed this, and saying they wouldnt give me the deal i was promised, i was sooooo pissed. i guess they sold their quota while i was enroute. i bailed and made them give me a gas card for a fill. my wife actually was the one who was pissed. (remember 9 months pregnant) i bought the next day from beaverton.

If you are used to dealing with slimy salespeople and feel confident you won't be taken advantage of, go to Beaverton Mitsubishi. Otherwise, if you lack the heart or bargaining skeelz, go elsewhere. At Beaverton Mitsubishi they seem to think their Evos are made of gold.

Haha yep, I remember seeing a red '03 GSR with like 17k mi on it and they were asking like 30,300 or something for the car, just a few hundred less than MSRP of a brand new one at the time. Pretty awesome deal!

I don't think there are many places that sell cars that don't have slimy salespeople. You can always get a deal, it's just a battle of will. Once in a while you find a nice non-pushy guy, but they don't last very long. It's the pushy people that move cars & stay & get promoted & teach the others how to be pushy...

My only problem is that I am a little hot headed, and get mad/offended pretty easily. Salesman usually consider me uninformed or unintelligent in some way or another because I am so young. That is usually what gets me going, especially when they try and lie to me. Oh well, when push comes to shove I have no problem with walking away.
