Well there's only three choices since Dick Hannah closed shop. I was always treated well there and it's unfortunate they're no longer around. Rey Reece doesn't know what their talking about from what I've read and my experience with T&C was worse than Beaverton Mitsu. Where do you suppose I go? If there's some wonderful Mitsu dealership I haven't heard about please let me know...

Seems like a lot of the stealerships around here still want to charge ADM for their cars. I'd drive to Spokane if I had to to save myself 3-6k. I know that my buddy (Baby Evo 8) bought his in Spokane, and they were quick to remove the ADM when he told them he refused to pay it.

The sales guy used this as his analogy (at Beaverton Mitsu) "would you rather buy a house in Compton, or Arizona?" He's used it several times with various people I've been with, so it seems to be his normal tag line. Made me laugh though.

ADM is placed on any somewhat desirable car around here and it's only for dumbasses who do not know how to haggle. All you have to say is "take off the ADM and we can talk. Otherwise I am not going to listen to anything you have to say." If you actually mean it, and walk away or ask for another sales rep, then you shouldn't have a problem with them taking it off.

If your young its going to be tougher for you my friend....there service is going to be worst ( but theres exceptions sometimes)

I was 30 y/o when i got my EVO in 2k3 and they treated me like crap....cause i have a bad case of "baby face" and i look like i am in my early 20's...not a single salesman came up to me and asked me if i needed any help...so, i did the loan aproval myself....went to the dealer...told them i want this car, for this price here is my approval take it or leave it....an hour later i was chilling with my new baby at Starbucks

Well, I won't go to Beaverton Mitsu because of the way their sales people treated me and the things I hear about their service department. I bought my '05 from T&C and have only had the turbo coolant recall done on it and I took it there. I do my own oil changes and what ever else that isn't warranty work. When I had the recall done the car smelled like coolant for a few days but other than that the experience was OK. I will take it back there again if I need to bring it in.

hmm, i took my evo to beaverton just last week to have 5th gear grind fixed, warrentied with no problems or questions. they took good care of me and andy did awesome work on my car. see sig for mods too.

i guess it all depends on your attitude when you go there to explain your situation.

As you can see by my name...I'm looking! I spent an hour or so at beaverton Mits today. It wasn't a horrible experience, but here are some of lines I was told:

1) The cars in california selling for less have hail damage.

2) Cars in calif are lower power? (is this true? they claimed emissions issues..hmmm..)

3) The car is fastest if you shift early to get the turbo spoolin? huh?

4) The car is so fast the gov is making mits lower the power from now on! Wow, better tell BMW, Chevy, Dodge, Ford, etc that a lot of their cars aren't going to sell here anymore!!

It was pretty bad. They wanted $3k over for an MR and wouldn't hardly budge...OK...

But, I got to drive the car; no issue. First time I had driven one. I liked it a lot. I have tracked an S2000 extensively in Oregon and Texas, but sold it before I moved back. Looking forward to getting into an 06 MR sooner then later. Anyone want to sell me one for ~$34k? (silver or grey please)
Anyway, HI!

There is no CA-specific Evo. They are all the same. I almost bought my Evo from Beaverton Mitsu. I walked out and didn't come back when they wouldn't budge on a minor haggle on financing.
