Fuel System

I bought a bigger fuel rail, 255 walbro pump, and some 750cc injectors. I was told I can't run the pump and bigger injectors with SAFC II alone. Any ideas? I might just have to buy AEM EMS/ECU then install them.

What turbo do you have on this car..you have a stock turbo with a header why would you need this fuel setup?... and why would you want to run your 30k car with a safc ii.... things to think about..

AEM certainly gives you the ability to fine tune your fueling, and scale for different sized injectors.

You can definitely run your car with these mods. I have the 255 and 780's tuned with the AFC-II by myself. No knock and pulled like crazy. I was boosting 19 lbs.
I have since changed to Ecuflash because it is a better way tune the Evo. The AFC you are indirectly changing timing, with Ecuflash you can directly control timing.
Everyone bashes on the AFC, but I have seen numerous Evo's with basic boltons hitting 325whp on 91oct tuned with AFC.

You can tune larger injectors using Ecuflash. I have my 780's dialed in near perfect. With my mods in my sig the car drives like stock until you step on the gas. It idles like stock and you cant even tell it has cams.

Thanks cpoevo, I want to properly get my car ready for the GT35R turbo. I already ordered my new cam shafts and gears. I guess I'll just sell my SAFC II and go with the Ecuflash.

Im running 850 injectors, 255 pump period! No fuel rail, no regulator, no dash 6 lines. 521 whp on stock ecu! I dont think you need it. Not with what you have. Stock injectors should be good to 350whp if not more. BTW I love your wheels.. where can I get a set if I wanted to.

If your getting a GT35R you will definitely want to get rid of the AFC and atleast use Ecuflash probably a standalone.

if your going with a 35R you are going to need bigger than 750 injectors to get some real use out of the turbo.
