Careful you don't fall into a trap. There are some classic 2600 collector games going for thousands!

cap aka capacitor. Think of it as something similar to a battery (not really, though) that stores energy. If you have a laptop charger (or any charger for that matter) that has an LED and when you unplug it from the wall the LED stays lit for a while, that is due to capacitors in the charger.
