I just picked up a 2013 to replace the wifes 2000 Jeep TJ, This thread has been some good reading as far as picking up some "umphff", that this car can surely use.
I'll be looking into the Lancer snorkel and better drop in filter along with fabbing up a better intake tube. FSTB is a must have as always on what I drive. I'd rather have a solid bar, but like it's been said, this ain't no autocross vehicle.

So I'm wanting to do the RA snorkel swap and a panel filter for the stock box. Does anyone know if there's a drop in unit for the 2013 yet from K&N or hopefully the cosworth one?????? (link for where to get the Cosworth filter???)

I might also be looking into the TB swap and some exhaust upgrades.
Anyone know what bang for the buck would benefit the sport? I'm thinking high flow CAT, header maybe from something stock??????

Most of my experience has been with V8's and the Hyundai 2.0 turbo. I'm glad I found this forum cuz there's a TON of Mitsu info to absorb since things are so similar between vehicles.

the RA snorkel will have to be modified to fit the after market and the heat sheild boxes because it is a bit too long, but i am not sure if it will fit the inlet of the stock box though.

I just checked with my local dealer on the RA snorkel > They wanted $127 for it... was there a price bump recently in Mitsu inventory?

So, does anyone have any old RA snorkel available for me to make a mold of..? I'm thinking of making a custom one instead.

You can make the pipe line yourself check my old post, but make sure you can find an adopter for the retanguler inlet of the air box.

Your dealer is hosing you. They can be bought from my dealer and online Mitsu parts stored for around $90

I figured as much..
When I called in the sales clerk sounded annoyed when I didn't provide him the VIN to my "ralliart" forcing him to have to look up that RA snorkel...

I just got the hitch installed on the wifes getter today, great mod that'll we'll use for sure.
I got her intake put on yesturday, got the Takeda intake for $200 shipped off the bay by making an offer. Really nice quality. might be the same maker of the Greddy intake.
Even the lady says she like the sound and the "getup N go" better than the stock setup. After looking at the exhaust when doing the hitch, I'm pretty sure we're thinking about doing a custom exhaust. Since I can get a blemished 2.25 piece of stainless tubing from my work, I'll probably get some Walker pieces to help with the exhaust options. Might even try doing some cutting on the rear and make a dual exit setup. (highflow CAT of course) this stock setup is a CHOKER!

I'm new to this but where can I get one?

It's not a "one," exactly, but rather you'll need to get your hands on some transparent, red vinyl and wrap your taillights yourself (or pay someone to do it). Plenty of tutorials available online.

yeah just order red tail light film from ebay its like 5.00 usually from china take about a week and a half to get to you. It does take 2 or 3 layers to get the same color red as the rest of the tail light but 1 order of the film will do. Its a 20 minute mod, all you need is an exacto knife, bondo scrapper or stiff cardboard, soapy water, and a hair dryer.

I recommend trying Oracal 8300 in red instead. Nearly perfect match with one layer and claimed to last 5 years outdoors.

oracel is the stuff I use when I do wraps. Awesome product! use heat but not too much and take your time. I will be wrapping mine in a smoked film all the way across and on the third brake light then putting a brake light strobe module in like I had on my last 2 cars and my work vehicle.
