Outlander Sport Mods
I almost forgot I started with the leds in this thread! I posted it in my thread instead
I finally went out to get some night shots and HOLY SMOKES! I was not expecting this!

With the led strip firing downwards into the headlights and the way the housing was designed, it turned into some kind of fiber optic lighting illusion! The blu'ish tint from the leds actually ran through and around the outside of the headlights making it look like I have some kind of fiber optic cable running along whole thing! It looks freaking amazing in person. I tried to get a better example with a video, but I don't think it does it justice. It just looks insane in person!

Shoved the positive wire into the parking marker socket. Didn't feel like cutting open the harness, because there wasn't enough slack and I bolted down the negative to the front quarter panel bolt.
How is this new? I'm pretty sure I just did the exact same thing back on page 5. Lol. Granted that the angle plus iPhone pic makes our look really blue and sites the led bulbs but the bulbs are less noticeable in real life and not as blue as the pics show. Btw, you can't sick the strip inside the corner bulb housing. Tried that. The strip is too thin and will fall between the lens and the actual housing sine the housing isn't flushed up against the lens. There is about a 1/4 gap between the lens and the housing.
I just found out the led strips I have laying around are actually side firing, lol. After messing around with the strip and putting it in different positions, I realized that you don't need the led strip inside to get the factory LED strip look I was going for. The top part of our headlight is shaped like a prism. If you direct your light source from the top, down into the headlight, you will see the individual LEDs through the actual headlight housing. It's pretty freaking cool!
You can see the led bulb a bit, because I had the strip laying flat on top of the headlight since I didn't want to rip off the adhesive yet, but it will be pointed downwards when it's done.

I just wish the strips weren't as blue. I like white leds.

They are actually at about a 45. I was just giving you crap. We have a hand full of things we can do to this mod unfriendly thing so it's just funny how we tweak it and it's new and everyone is excited. I wish we could so more but there isn't much out there for us. Plus nothing is ever "new"
Use a red smoked vinyl film. Got them in Amazon...
