Just out of curiosity, is anyone considering EVO X MR coilovers? I haven't even had an opportunity to research on what's what in the world of coilovers for EVO X MR's.

Thoughts from you guys?

What... sounds more like they were selling without inventory and did not want to admit it, the are still on Megan's home page for sale yesterday.

I was just talking to my contact at Megan about these yesterday (trying to get my price down to match these guys) and he didn't say anything about it but I'll ask to be sure.

To be honest my cost is pretty much what they're selling them for so they might have had a price error and are hoping you'll just cancel instead of wait.

I cant see them having a "fitment" issue as these springs are not the newest thing to hit the market. they have been installed in a number of EVO X on this forums dating back to 2009. (google is my bestfriend). I will reach out to the seller as its exactly who i ordered from and see what story they give me. Never an easy task when we think we have something resolved. sheesh.

Sounds like a classic hook & toss tactic - "so sorry, our manufacturer have issues, there's going to be a long delay" yada yada..

sounds to me they dont have the springs yet.. but anyhoot make sure the springs you have are for a MR and not a reg GSR. Hate for you to get a set and its too thick like the OEM GSR springs are.

Yeah, confirmed with my contact at Megan that they're BS'ing you. No issues with fitment.

I can't touch the $130 price (apparently they couldn't either) but I can offer them for $153.99. Shipping is flat rate $5.

How different is the suspension from the evos to the outlanders? I know I have a Gen one and to get the drop I wanted I used the car chassis parts. Evo 8 Struts in front, Lancer Struts in Rear with evo lowering springs all around. The reason it didn't lower well on just evo springs was the struts are physically taller in height. Just throwing that out there in case it helps at all.

Yup! I was coming in here to post that. Megan has not recalled anything, but stated that they are out of stock. They should have more product stateside in "approximately 6 weeks" Huh, what a coincidence. I'm trying to get in contact with AKS, but they're not answering their phone. I don't mind waiting 6 weeks, and if they're scamming I'm certainly going to wait the 6 weeks just so that they have to sell it at a loss. Karma's a *****, after all.

I'm checking to see what estimate Megan will give me. I can attest that they're pretty horrible on inventory. They seem to run out pretty regularly and it takes weeks to get stuff in and they never really know exactly when it will be in.

ok so springs made for the Evo x MR will fit the OS. Who has them installed and not OEM ones, I;m talking aftermarket ones. I have seen the OEM GSR suspension and the rear springs look way too long to fit. Also as far as struts go what fits? I have access to a solid amount of evo parts.

Also on the custom springs, I haven't had a chance to deal with the company since I had to take a emergency trip to florida to help out my dad and that sucked up the rest of my money for a second car I was purchasing.

If i were you guys I would go with eibach Aftermarket springs. since the Oem springs for the MR are Eibach springs. and the ones sold for the asx in europe are also eibach. just sayin!!

I'm sorry I wasn't more clear. I have a gen 1 Outlander not sport. But considering they built the outlanders and the sports on the same chassis as the lancers of their generation I was thinking it may work. using lancer rears and evo front struts with evo lowering springs I got a considerable drop. But I do not know for certain. Just throwing it out there if anyone wants to try.
