me either, now my only question is what is the stock offset for the OS wheels, because the evo wheels are wider and have a +35. I thought I read that the OS wheels were +45 so that means the evo wheels will be offset 10mm more out, then add the extra inch or so for the wider wheel......I also have 20mm spacers sitting at home. I don't like the hellaflush bs, but I like the wheels to be flush without stretching tire (just stupid) or some ridiculous camber....

My genesis was stretching a 285 rear tire just by like 5mm on a 10.5 wheel and I hated it......

Also debating on hyperblack to refinish the evo X wheels in.... should go great with my gray exterior

OEM rims on the '11 were +46mm offset.

I'm pretty sure it's still the same for all years, but not positive.

dont stretch your tires.. no need to do so your not slamming the O.S. go with a 245 55 to match the side walls of the stocks.

I really really hope someone comes through with a coilover compatibility setup because I may be bringing home a set of new wheels this weekend and don't want the ride height any taller than it is now. If the budget replenishes by the time a solution arises to lowering our Sports, I'm opting for air ride. Who knows how many Lowering threads will exist by then.

There is a coilover I believe from KW. will cost you about 2k though. I do got a hunch that a evo coilover suspension will work. But its the rear that I'm not 100% sure about yet.

are you talking the 2003-2006 evos or the 2008-up?

I'm hoping to have a stock EVO X GSR suspension this weekend, and then hopefully test fitting it and seeing what is going on with fitment.

Ok So I finally picked up my buddies Evo x GSR suspension. Then I come to find out his already had a eibach Prokit on it. I am going to try and fit the whole suspension if possible, if not I will be swapping the springs and then we can confirm if evo X lowering springs work on the outlander shocks.

If for some miracle it works, please take note on the amount it lowers. Appreciate the heads up.

I wont have any time to attempt this until at least this weekend. When I do it I will be measuring from the fender arches to the ground before and after. the springs are the Pro-kit, so lowering probably wont be much but should handle better. I will keep everyone posted because this could open up a bunch of options for everyone.

This is a bit of a concern for me. I just got back from vacation on tuesday and picked up my boxes from UPS. I have a new set of Megan lowering springs for an evo x and a set of MR OEM's. By comparing last night i do see the bottle neck of the spring you mention.

My lil thinking and researcing last night, what if we were to replace the top seat of an outlandersport withand EVO X MR one, and than the top hat of the outlander sport. Would this not keep the Spring of the EVO in place "better" or lock it into place without any play? Since you have seen it.. taken it apart and put it back together... what are your thoughts?

EVO X - Top seat #8

would replace that of our OS #6

I like this guy! This is also a thought. I have the whole GSR suspension so I could play bit and see if I ever get to do it. Do you have the diagrams for the rear of a evo x and the OS. I'm just looking for some references.

I'm also going to take pics of everything compared side by side and stuff. Hopefully I can do this during the weekend.
