3 finger gap would be perfect on the Outlander Sport! How stiff is the ride with the cut MR springs and can the shocks handle the bumps? Where you would really see it is bumps around corners at speed where the rear might step out, called bump oversteer.

How much did you cut off, 1/2 a coil or more? Looks good!

The car handles very well. the stock mr Coils are super tough. and hard to cut. And you have to cut them Just right or you will just #*$%( everything up. but its very stiff and the shocks are handling just fine. I think they will be okay cause its a lowered at a conservative height.

So good news guys. ISC informed me there is a suspension in japan that they do make for the rvr. But they want to be sure that it fits our O.S. So I will be test fitting a set on mine and doing some R&D to see how it works out on ours. Keep you guys informed on how the progress goes. btw i threw on Evo x GSR on today.. looks not too bad very flush w the sides.

So how much of a coil did you cut off? I would rather not cut multiple times trying to zero in on 3 finger gaps front and rear.

Out of curiosity, any difference in handling and MPG with the extra 1.5" in width and decrease in wheel weight?

The handling is better. But I am still using the stock O.S shocks. If those were upgraded handling would be much better imo. But I did notice as soon as I added the Evo wheels the car became much more quicker. It doesnt feel sluggish and has more pep.

yeah i saved 25 lbs. or so on my new wheels over the stock wheels, and they say for every 1 lbs. of rotating mass you remove it is the same as sheding 10 lbs. of static weight.

Lost rotating and/or unsprung weight nets astronomical gains.

THE 2013 OS HAVE EIBACH PRO KIT (I THINK) COST ~335
THE 2011 OS ??????? THE UNKNOWN SUSPENSION LOWER THE CAR MORE THAN THE EIBACH.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?
