4b11 Crank Pulley for the O. sport

Seen this on the bay when looking for HP parts for the wifes "getter".http://www.ebay.com/itm/OBX-Crank-Pulley-08-10-Mitsubishi-Lancer-Evolution-X-10-/310659437910?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4854bed556&vxp=mtrThis should work for the 2013 O.Sport since it's just a 4b11 engine. I'm going to ask an evo owner that works for me but I'm pretty sure this'll be a good buy under $80.
I'll keep ya'll informed.

I believe HiBoost did the pulley on his. It should work just fine and you should see the exact same results as the Lancer crowd sees.

Good luck, keep us updated, and take lotsa pictures!!!

Will do.
I pullled the trigger on this pulley earlier. It'll work.
gonna do the pulley, a Greedy intake, high flow cat and a 60mm TB. Maybe a header in the future if the wife decides to keep it.

I'd shy away from anything that doesn't have a harmonic balancing layer in or around it... just my two cents, the engine spins up fairly quick (despite going nowhere) and ye ole diamond star's aren't really known for their elite internal balancing.

Local EVO tuner says not to worry. the CNC machining of the pulley is more accurate than the cast pulley which "needs" balanced due to it's construction and weight.
He recommends changing anything that has to do with rotating mass outside of the engine to lighter machined components. (being a former machinist,,,,, I'm down with that)

I see you're in Omaha, I make it to some car shows up there when I can, might have to meet up sometime. I'm in Lincoln.

I ran a light weight cnc machined pulley on my evo for over 100k with zero issues. I will not use a OBX pulley on anything because they have major quality control issues that i have dealt with in the past.

Starting from 2012 all the lancer, Outlander and OS that equipped with 4B engines have a different timing case design than the previous 4B engines. There is a bump behind the crank pulley, so it may not work since the pulley can interfere with that.

Also putting a aftermarket pulley will more or less damage the ring seal of the crank shaft leading a potential of oil leaking. As well as the groove design on the aftermarket pulley can affect the life of the belt. So be careful on that.
