Lift Kit?

Anybody looked into a 3-4" lift kit for the O.S. yet? was not sure if anyone is making anything yet.

I am running 225/55/18 streched over a set of 9" wide rims right now but when the tires are worn out, i am planning on running 255/65/18 All Terran tread tires for a more off road beefier look. plus more ground clearance would be nice incase of high water, curb hopping the feeder in traffic, or just want to go off roading.

Seeing her slammed would be pretty cool but having to worry about every speed bump, crack in the road, or high water is kinda behind me these days.

I have not seen anything about a lift kit for the outlander but i also have not been looking. I never reccomend stretching tires, From my stance experience it is not worth it.

the 225/55/18 are the stock tires and it is a mid strech, i am not a fan of streching tires either, but i am also not a fan of buying 4 new tires when the stock ones only had 9000 miles on them. Guess its just me being cheap.

lol I believe in not buying 4 tires too. I had a mild stretch on a 10.5" wide wheel with a 285 on my genesis and the handling was not there at all, compared to a proper sized tire. If anyone finds a lift kit that would be different, and i would like to check it out!

I found a set of 265/60/r18 BF Goodwrench Rugged series all terran highway/mid off raod tires rated for 60k+ miles on highway, with little to no road noise like the super swampers. They run about 177.00 a tire but look mean as hell and will fit even without a lift. I think once these tire are worn out thats the path im going to take on the build.

You don't need a lift kit. Look at this awesome suspension travel!

I guess they didn't know that you have to push and hold the TRAC OFF button for about ten seconds or so to completely disable the traction nanny

I have still been looking for a decent lift kit with no luck... i would rather not use body spacers and can not find suspension made for this model. It might be time to look into lowering the car instead.

I've been doing A LOT of research. Couldn't we OS owners use the aftermarket parts that are used on the Jeep Patriot and the Jeep Compass since we use the same body? Check my links

All I want is a 2" lift
