Used the first free oil change coupon from Mitsubishi today and here's what else I found out.
-Tire Rotations are $29 so I declined
-If I bring my own oil they will charge me $15-$20 for labor
-NO OPTION TO AUTO-LOCK WHEN SHIFT TO DRIVE!!
-My Airbag light is due to my aftermarket NAV install shorting out the airbag light on the center console or something like that
Oil was changed at 5,900 miles/6-7 months since purchase

Really? Well, that's good to catch that problem BEFORE an accident occurs. Hope you get that grounding issue fixed asap.
I asked them to program my doors to lock when shift to drive if possible and the mechanic checked, but there's no option in our vehicles for that feature.

The mechanic told me as long as the airbag light on the DASH comes on during the systems check when you first turn your key to ON, then the airbags will deploy. In my case, it has to do with something about the passenger light on the center console, like the bulb got shorted or something which is why the airbag light is on.

Thank for clarifying.
That's too bad.
It would be a good safety feature to have.

would change it because other countries require it. It would be silly to manufacture two ECU's, one for the US, and one for the Global ASX/RVR.
