Anyone figure out a way to get the side markers open yet?

Id like to make my side markers clear bulbs but as many of you already know the markers are all one unit. I tried hitting with some heat and pulling it apart with no luck. I also found some led replacement ones on ebay buy im not a big fan of the way they look. anyone come across any that aren't ugly or figure a way to get them apart?

Ironically, I just got my smoked LED sidemarkers yesterday. I didn't like the ones you posted up top either. I saw how it was very hard to take the OEM ones apart, and I wouldn't have known what to do with it once I got it apart, so I just ordered the smoked LED sidemarkers to match the LED taillights and flow well with the window tint.

I'll put them on tomorrow and take some before/after pictures as usual.

You may have to Dremel the thing to get it opened..
Which will require surgical hands for something that small

This is what I use, but I don't think there's a white version:

Thanks for sharing those vids!

Well, if there isn't any white LED versions, then someones going to have to mod an existing one.

Personally, I like those fender grills with the LED markers integrated into them.
I'm kind of fond of those bimmer fender-markers >

Where did you get the smoked ones from? Did you smoke them yourself? that was going to be my next option I figure.

Oh. I bought the smoked ones that are for an EVO X.

I was thinking it would be a simple plug and play and literally just post a picture here. It's NOT a plug and play after all. See here...
