Tweeters

I have searched but could not find anything.

Can you add tweeters (wiring is there) to an outlander sport gt with the 6 speaker system non RF ?

I think I found on YouTube someone that has something similar with a lancer.

Any comments are appreciated.

It is not as simple as just bolting the tweeters on if toy want some imprvement. The video below is in German but you will understand it if you have any experience in car audios:

Translate the product information page below and find something similar available in the US market.

Good luck.

Have you checked whether or not you have 12V in the tweeter cable? I do not have by default (2012 Canadian SE). You might need to change the settings for the sound system in your ETACS from "6 speakers" to "premium". Few bucks is not a big investment but I would check first the voltage.

I will check. I was thinking of looking for some old Mitsubishi tweeters on eBay with the correct harness so I don't have to cut or tap into anything.

so after receiving the Mitsubishi Tweeters that i purchased on ebay, i realized that my car already has tweeters. I have the OS 2.4 GT without the RF system. I guess i should have checked before i ordered...

anyone with the 4 speaker system want to purchase the mitsubishi tweeters... ill post them in a couple of days.

Mine just went. The right side is real bad! I have a 2012 OS 'SE' WITH factory installed Tweeters. Will need new ones. Were yours expensive?
