Look forward to seeing these results and I am very interested in the new cast cylinder head. Glad to see people thinking outside of the box.

My point exactly here. This is why I have partnered up with Spyros because they don't have dragstrips as good as ours or as close to us there like we do here.

Winter of 2008

Currently sold some 12:1 stuff that should be hitting the road before too long. Marco has been doing it far longer than us and I am sure there are others that have them running now or are building them.

I am not trying to compare to this, but its not as uncommon as you would think. My question is that on 100 octane (lets assume for a sec its MON not RON), I am curious on what the cylinder pressure is after the camshafts and headwork vs what level of timing it can run?

just a curious question why are people scared to rev to 11k rpm? honda's do this all the time, i no a guy named choung built a 9 second civic going well past 12k rpm at the track, he had all supertech valve terain with a borg warner s372. does the head not flow enough or is it the rotating assembaly thats not up to par? his was around 10:1 compression as well. sorry this is off topic.

head isnt the problem, its the physics behind the mechanicals. shorter stroke = higher rpm capability. also, just because some guy claims something on the internet, doesnt make it true or reliable.

No, pump gas here in europe have RON rating.

For the rest, I really don't understand what the problem is. This car will be fast for sure, fast on the strip as any other evo with similar bhp.
I don't think that this build will be done to break any record....and...frankly....on this board every shop have a record. Fastest stock appearing turbo, fastest stock block, fastest full weight, fastest fp xxxx, highest dynojet whp, etc. etc. All these records make just laugh.
This will be a very fast car on the street and on the strip, with an awesome response, and will give the great feeling of a hi-rpm engine!
