Joe, glad to see you're finally starting to receive your parts. Good luck with the actual build!

The only reason I bought the FP Black was to do just that (direct unbiased comparison), however there has been a hiccup with parts not arriving from a vendor, now in the midst of a paypal claim so the test probably wont happen, and I have all these parts that have been sitting

Glad you got your parts. Not apologizing for what was said because anyone with an ounce of common sense would've had the same questions and had the same accusations as all of us that wern't wowed with pics that were either stolen or irrelevant.

That being said lets see some numbers and hope its everything you wanted it to be. Someone take BR up on his offer. Since people are actually getting parts not shouldn't be to hard right.

And if this how a company deals with LEGIT questions (By packing their toys up and going home, aka pulling out from being a vendor) good riddance. Its not like they were doing anything much more then stirring the controversy with the recent exception of graphite and khmer getting their parts.

It was entertaining though.

What parts do you need?
I'm sure there are people that would like to see this and can rally together.

I'll wait until Friday and see what Paypal decides, basically I was gonna run the FP Black on my car first before the ET turbo arrived, but due to a vendor here lagging on building, and sending my parts I am now stuck. The FP Black was part of the whole deal so if I get to return everything then I won't be able to compare it to the ET turbo.

Quite discouraged at the moment as nothing can be done until I have everything.

Keep the faith, builds always seem to take 4 times longer than expected.

Then why would they build them?
They'll sell if they have any more.

This reminded me of something Robert at FP said a couple years ago. Dealing with David isn't the easiest to keep up with because if there is something better out there, he will run it. It keeps FP on their toes and makes them step up to the plate to get the turbos to were they are now. David uses the best parts and doesn't try to sell you on BS parts just to make an extra buck.

That would be unfortunate, but understandable. It was explained by ET that parts were delayed because the project path changed. The OP can clarify, but I did not see this disputed. With every other post saying "FP Black/Red/Green Dyno Results" I appreciated something new being done.

No kidding.. kiss you deadlines and goals to be running out the door unless you multiply the time you planned for to do a proper build... sad story, hopefully its worth the wait..
