Wow. Do you think it has something to do with you being on speed density? I do hope that you are able to get things ironed out and please inform us what the cause is/was. I plan on going speed density as well but I do not want to experience what you are if this is the case.

if its caused by speed density then the tune needs worked on more. speed density evo's run smoother then maf. just saying.. so no one gets the wrong idea regarding SD vs maf.

Depends on what one considers "cold." It's been below zero what, 5 days so far this winter? That's cold. 20s-40s like it has been the past week are balmy.

Isn't Shane looking at the tune today Revo? I'll be curious what your car does on their dyno.

You should have Shane do a comparo between mine and yours too! I wanna see spool difference between evo X 2.2 and evo 9 2.3L

It's part throttle and mostly in the higher gears.. saw tuner today and still not resolved.. it has to be SD or this damn BOV. Video and dyno sheets below.

Its either compressor surge or the BOV, and since you have an antisurge housing.......

Chris and I are working with Turbosmart.. ARGH.. I should have waited and got the Tial Q but it was not in stock at the time. More difficult now since my UICP is MAP custom and I am obviously flanged for the raceport.

Idle vacuum is consistently 15in/hg once the car warms up.. that is at 900-1000rpms.
