It won't cost much to get a tial flange installed. Also For future additions never cut corners. If you know you want something. Wait for it.

I find it hard to believe the race port is causing the problem. Do you have the proper spring/vacuum line size on it?

The reason I have hks 280s is because 1) They were in this VIII head when I got it 2) I am waiting on a cam that isn't available yet. There was no point in spending more cash on cams I'd have in my car for 2 months (hmm kind of just proved my point huh)

Idle vacuum is consistently 15in/hg once the car warms up.. that is at 900-1000rpms.
I would say it is bov related being the vacume is that high once it is warmed up. Does the bov stay open a tad bit at idle reguardless. If the answer to that is yes then definately the spring. I know my car is at like -10,-11 or so at idle warmed up with my s2 cams.

I figure it's worth trying a new spring. I hope it works because I do love the look and sound of the BOV. And I don't want to hack up that pretty pipe.

Turbosmart support has been great. They have some questions about the install that I am getting answered now.

Not really, the cams have been available for quite some time, theres just been a core wait on them. And i know your build took a while, Regardless i was just poking fun at your lack of patience when you're preaching it.

Um...no, the cam blanks I'm waiting on are not available nor have they been. Show me my lack of patience. I'll be waiting. . .

Lol. Swapping spring tomorrow. Wish me luck.

Also, does anyone else think 11.0 afr is a little too rich for e85?
