MAP Stage 2 LR 2.4L Build
I appreciate the feedback, man. I went home and started driving it around a little and realized that if I sold it I'd be an idiot.
There is not a car that can replace these cars, plain and simple. I decided that I'll re-live my Vette dream when I'm 50. Until then it's lope, rattles, and spool
.
Out of curiosity, what didn't you like about the Vette?

i raced a AWD porche turbo that had 85whp less then me and weight 350lbs more and lost every race due to traction. Then back to square 1.You also cant tinker with vette's to expensive trust me. So it seems like you like tinkering with car like me, and I hate losing to cars also
He is a picture of the car
This is such a great thread. The documentation and pictures are awesome. Thanks again for doing it! Enjoy it, man. A lot of people would love to have that beast in the garage.

It didnt hook even stock spun to about 70-75 mph on a nice day. To make a fast/hooking car it would of took 10x's that amount of money. i wanted to make it a 10 second car till i found out that would cost about 35k to do

I really hope I get to start enjoying it soon, because watching it sit just makes me want to get rid of it for something that I can drive on the daily.
That's good to know, because a C6 was my ultimate goal. Baha I saw your car when I came to look at your brother's salvage back-to-stock but I doubt you remember that ordeal.
I really appreciate it, man. It was all a learning process for me too, and it feels good to know that others learned from it as well. There are so many things that are just 'assumed' on this site that people talk about with very little clarification, so my goal was to bring light to a few of those things after figuring out how the heck to do it myself haha.

Just sent payment for a HAFE cast T3 kit! Hello 3586.
If anyone is interested in the Curt Brown ported (and ceramic coated) exhaust manifold, the new revised JMF 02 Dump, or the ~38K mile IX turbo, shoot me a message.

I see bike as your current vehicle and music education in Indiana so I have to imagine you've seen my 92x driving around campus with Illinois plates
Wish you brought this thing down to school, you have a lowly representation here besides that crazy Voltex kit'd evo9 running around!

I spend 10-15 hours a week on my bike on top of riding to and from classes. I have counted a solid 3 Evo's in this town. Indy is another beast all together with Fat House having such a presence, but my (our) dot on the map is dry.
That colt sounds super fun though!

Biker, I'm in Anderson with Wheatley. There's still a large chance I'll be in Bloomington next year for Grad School, but it's still not completely set in stone.
Hopefully I can get home long enough to get a base tune on the car so I can bring it out here and start driving the damn thing.

Hope you both survived the blitz attack yesterday; we didn't get any accumulation but the black ice was terrible.

The black ice was awful. I had to put 15w40 in the daily so it would stop burning oil, so it was interesting starting it in 5* weather.
