Installed the Curt Brown 70mm extreme intake manifold. AMS F1i is sold to a local

Pretty sure i'm going to eventually rewire this portion of the harness...

New catch can fabbed by a local- Warren (antilag_200) . Dual chambered and quite large (it comes down past the frame rail infront of the wheel well area).

All together

So, I know people are wondering what the differences will be between the AMS f1I and the Curt Brown manifold. I did a pull two days ago on the F1I on my base map which doesn't have any fine tuning yet and got some numbers. I went out last night and did a pull on the curt brown manifold, the car blew spark and popped a freeze plug. So I do not have an accurate graph for the Curt Brown yet, maybe next week. You can tell in the graph below how the car spools faster and picks up nice HP and crazy amounts of TQ below 6k. This may not be 100% accurate, but it gives you an idea.

Thanks Matt Turns out I do have the correct size OEM freeze plug (2 of them actually) so I will possibly throw it in tomorrow. For anyone wondering, it was the plug above trans on drivers side of motor, so not too bad too replace. Car is already apart awaiting plug install.. .

Don't forget the anaerobic sealer for the freeze plug. Also do not use a socket and hit the flat part of the plug. Use a driver and only hit the edges.

Yup, got those under control. I have a socket that is the same size as the edges I can use.

I was advised green loctite would work for sealing. Another friend uses red loctite with success. Is what you listed better?

It is almost the same as Red loctite. Might be exactly the same. The machine shop I love just have me some in a baggie one time I had to install a plug in Car. I didn't see the brand.

I figured as much.

I'll be putting the new plug in probably tomorrow and also checking the head stud TQ again, I don't think I have done so after the car seeing boost on this new motor.

Thanks B.J! Kind of annoying because of the mess it makes, but luckily its easy to access. For some reason, it seems as if in the beginning of each season - I always blow something coolant related, just once..

To add to this build, the car is getting caged this weekend. It should be finished by next weekend.

It will be a 10pt choromoly with window net, certified for 8.50's. Safety first right? lol.
