Was finally able to get the car on the dyno tonight. Kevin at EvoD took care of me. My dirty self tune was making about 330/329. New tune made this at slightly less boost.

To be fair, it wasn't our home dishwasher. We had one at our warehouse office that we never used. My wife would also kill me, lol.

So, getting the car professionally tuned really made me fall in love with the Evo again. I have some things I'm going to try to do this summer for a little maintenance and some extra power. I have a couple projects I'm going to try to finish up in a big push after my vacation.

I also picked up a little project to work on over maybe the next year.

My 8yo had a blast helping me tear it down. I'll be taking it to my machine shop in the next couple of weeks to have him check it out and make sure the block is good to move forward with. The crank is really rough. While it didn't spin a bearing I think it's going to need a regrind and to be nitrided. Depending on the cost, I may just buy a new piece. Should make some nice torque, though.

Picked up a very important mod yesterday.

A daily driver! Too bad it's broken.

Nah, decided to move on from the Evo. Xterra is waiting for a new transmission. 335i is waiting for the Evo to find a new home.

Well, after 6 years and about 84000 miles, the evo is off to a new owner. I'll miss her. They don't make them like that anymore.
