Metal glaze is easy to sand if you're wanting a very thin coat filler to use. Any degreaser should work well, I tend to not dilute mine much and use a soft or medium bristle brush to break the grime away. Don't forget to plug your holes if power washing.

i thought about that for about 2 seconds. i have not really thought about it much more. i honestly do not even know where to start with that type of mod. i would be interested in it for sure. i believe i saw ToxicFab do something like that. but i thought it was for show.

I doubt it'll shave weight but it will definitely free up power.

Mind posting it in this thread for the world? A PM will suffice too.

We will see what happens. It needs to be pretty basic and work with my stock ecu/F-Con. I will prob mount the pump right on the fire wall under the intake manifold.

The main pressure feed line ( the big rubber one coming from pump) isn't the lightest thing out there and can be replaed with -6 AN line ( power steering specific hose has to be used).. the return line from the rack, can be regular pro lite hose, or you can bend your own out of aluminum , just like the stock set up..

What year mr2 does the electric power steering come in ? Reason I ask is that i have a customers 91 turbo mr2 in for work at the moment and check rather easily.

It's been 6 months or so since I actively collected data but let me see if I can copy all of my data from the other laptop to my mac. I have everything from mr2 part numbers to install tutorials, other pumps with reservoirs on the pump itself for a clean setup, and even pigtails to make the install easier. I honestly may use the one with the reservoir built in and mount it under the intake manifold with an electric water pump.
